We’re just waiting for the inevitable Collingwood grand final heartbreak. More fun watching you lose a grand final than a prelim anyway.
You know it’s gonna happen again, I know you do.
I am so happy for you

Lots of argy bargy back-and-forth about Collingwood....but damn GWS have had a great season and a bright future ahead of them.

A few blokes will tick over 30 in the off-season but it's really only Ward (and to a lesser extent Keefe) who are essential players that are "old". And they've got some absolute guns coming through. Should be challenging for the next few years at least if they can keep it remotely together.

Well played GWS, not sure how but we've somehow created another great Vic v Interstate rivalry by now with just the few finals we've played in. Such a great season and as good as our resurgence last year, finishing low year prior, fired coach, win streak before going through the finals the hardest way. Had us shitting our dacks right to the very end which is all you can ask for in such a roll of the die match.

Genuinely embarrassing reading how some of the neutral posters on here carry themselves after the game haha, does this happen every time we win a game?

Umpiring was actually some of the best I've seen this year for the first three quarters. Last quarter was pretty poor just cause they pretty much let everything go and then pay two BS insufficient intents (one against each team).

Great finals game nonetheless with JDG (unfortunately) being the difference in the end. Giants just couldn't tackle him.

Will Curnow finally stand up in a final today? Will he continue his 1 goal finals average. Will his opponent be his teams best on ground for the 4th week in a row. Can he kick goals without free kicks? If Curnow can deliver then the Blues can win. Questions must be answered by him today.
The real question is.. Will the umpire step in to make it look like Curnow has stepped up, just like most of the H&A season.

And when we win - you’ll be sulking for weeks like so many other here.
Big weeks ahead for Doctors prescribing antidepressants to those stung by a Coll win.

Unless the game is postponed to October you don’t win, even the saints have won more flags in September in the last 60 years than you blokes.
I’m just excited to see which heartbreaking way you lose.

And this deep hatred is the reason you’ll be floored by our Win.
Get ahead of the game and make your Doctors appointment today - depression need’s early intervention.

Out of all the supposed free kicks you could call hard done by. This wasn't one of them.

A brave effort from Collingwood to get past GWS by a point with a longer break, less travel, more supporters and the umpires on their side.

Looking forward to a 20th anniversary repeat of Brisbane beating them in the GF or in the unlikely event Carlton win a repeat of 1979 or 81.
Why you so mad Plugz? Is it because you lost a gf and would have won if a ball bounced differently, or is it because you wake up nights in a cold sweat remembering Shaws rundown of Reiwoldt in the goal square? Or is because you had to endure years of shitty Ross Lyon football, and then he's left and you thought perhaps you could enjoy footy again, and now he's back? Or is it just the general misery of being a Saints fan, of living with a general sense of bitterness and dejection?
