Hopefully they call me $1000 richer after this game... Seriously, though, only Geelong and Melbourne have "comprehensively" beaten away preliminary finalists, this decade, and Melbourne played their winning prelim in Perth. Usually the away prelim finalist wins, or the home prelim finalist barely scrapes through.Your mates call you Nostradamus?
Sounds credible.Hopefully they call me $1000 richer after this game... Although, equally meaninglessly, our record specifically in Prelims is very good.Interesting but ultimately meaningless stat time
None of the 4 prelim final teams have a positive record in finals over the last decade.
2015-2024 incl
Port 3-6
Geelong 10-10
Brisbane 7-7
Sydney 6-9
Heeney to catch fire for 5-8 minutes and be completely unstoppable. Game might be an arm wrestle for the rest of the game.I reckon Port shot their bolt last week and won't turn up tonight. Swans by 36.
You're talking about some very mentally weak Port and Brisbane teams though.Western Bulldogs were "banged up" badly in 2021, and destroyed the rested Port in the prelim. Same thing happened in 2020 both away preliminary finalists won. Players have admitted they struggle after resting from being banged up to get back going again, whereas continually going stops them from getting rusty. I think Sydney have been given a bad hand by The AFL with the pre-finals bye, which means Sydney have only had 1 game in a month, will definitely make them rusty and Port I think will take advantage of it early.
Stevic is right up there as one of the best in the business, it will be a great game to watch. At the pointy end of the year umpires can't afford to make any mistakes or risk missing out on next week. Look at Rosebury, second most grand finals in AFL history and he's sitting on the bench this week after making a few blues last Friday.Hope stevic won’t wind back the clock 10 years, want a fairly umpired game.
Shackles released a bit. Good recent record against the oppo. Its got that feelPort heading into an away prelim as outsiders, the last few prelims they have played in they were at home and favourites.
Would not surprise me at all if Port won tonight.
Why are Port supporters the worst umpire blamers, in the comp?Hope stevic won’t wind back the clock 10 years, want a fairly umpired game.
It’s more because media people talk about Port and home ground umpiring, when the reality is that it is almost the exact opposite. Why are Port supporters the worst umpire blamers, in the comp?
They are just ahead of the Richmond crowd since they became an irrelevance.
At Port they blame the umpires before the game, just in case, along with Ken.
These dummies are so paranoid and insecure it’s unbelievable.
Oh, and Port fans, you are going to get smashed tonight!
That just sounds like umpiring whinging with more steps. It’s more because media people talk about Port and home ground umpiring, when the reality is that it is almost the exact opposite.
Qantas pissed at Ken after last week too?Just read Qantas cancelled a flight from Adelaide to Sydney today and can't fit passengers from that flight on until late in the day - gee they are scumbags.
Sounds like you, whinging about us.That just sounds like umpiring whinging with more steps.
