If you're 2.15 at 3QT against North on your home ground, you deserve to lose and blaming the umpires is a pathetic cope.
Nah I said the same when Freo and Crows were robbed. Doesn’t matter how well you play. You deserve to lose if you’re behind on the scoreboard and for an umpire to directly affect the score is bullshit

Not really, this is why umpiring remains shite, people use these things to justify that shite umpiring doesn’t impact. …regardless of shite kicking, umpiring is at a low ebb and determines games ….

No free was paid to Wardlaw, could have been.

But what is Yeo meant to do.. he just tried to pick it up to give a handball off.. just stay still and let another player pick the ball up.
Yes.

I've been shouting for years that you need to make it harder for the tackler, not easier. Making it easier makes it more prevalent. The AFL should be promoting ball winners, not punishing them. They are not the problem.

Ive been warning for ever that you simply promote tagging and Ross Lyon football. Is it any wonder that Bont was tagged yesterday, because it's easier now.

I know what the F in AFL stands for now.

The late-game review system idea would never work for AFL and I would rather watch Geelong lose 100 straight matches by a point after a terrible late umpiring decision, than have the sport ruined by adding an in-play review system.
Give teams 1 challenge per game and if they use it and get it wrong then lose it for the game. If they get it correct they retain it to be used again. That will mean teams wont use it until 4th quarter (if at all) in only close games, unless it is a clear wrong decision. Wont affect the game much

The best North had and they were really not even close. Absolute bullshit to end the match
If it wasn’t close you wouldn’t be upset with how the match ended.
