You can't block someone who's just standing there. There's no such rule about where the eyes are looking. Big O didn't move towards the ball at all. This aint basketball.
He turns his back on the ball to make sure that he's in position to prevent O from having a clear run at it.
Pretty basic stuff.

He looked at him

Put a body on him

Doesnt matter if he was in the contest or not

Its a block
There's body in body all over the ground at every moment in the game what are you on about. Windhager has been blocking neale all night to the point he's struggled to run around him.

It's a block if a player is moving towards the ball and is stopped. Mcinerney was standing still.

This is turning into another Ross L stink-fest.
Playing cheesy songs after goals really cheapens the appearance of the league as a whole. The ceo should stamp this crap out.
Yeah, I'm a Lions gold member but those post-goal songs started to get stale 2 years ago and are now truly cringe-worthy. When at the Gabba, a decent percentage of the crowd keep singing after the ball has gone back to the centre and the game has resumed. Shut up your singing FFS.

Mcinerney has to try to make a run at it for it to be a block. The guy could've been in the process of walking backwards for all we know. He wasnt moving
