They have about 3 or 4 players who are shot to bits with a couple very close to it. Hawkins, Duncan, Tuohy are gone. Danger, Blicavs, Cameron are not far behind, then you have a whole stack who are not good enough.
I agree on most but Cameron. However, I don't think Geelong will drop off for that long. They will always be a destination club and attract good opposition players because of the "living in Geelong" factor. It would be massive for a heap of players

Where are all those cocky Carlton supporters who kept telling me they look forward to meeting again later in the year??
Well, here it is and I like my boys to get the job done (again).

Cats win by 22 points and recapture their early season form :thumbsu:
We're here, where are YOU?! 👋 I'm guessing there's more chance of locating flight MH-370 before this flog is sighted in Bigfooty again 🤣

That's a bit rich from a supporter of a team of abject failures for 29 years! The world of football turns very quickly, in Geelong's case it has been a slow turn for 2 decades. The time has finally come and now they will have to rebuild. I suppose most footy fans are looking forward to kicking sand in their face after the torment of the past 20 years. The wheel will turn again, but for now there is an obstruction in it. Perhaps you have some pointers you would like to share on what it's like at the bottom end of the ladder?

You do realise that Carlton FC are older than 29 years , yeah ?

What are you on about? Your post has absolutely nothing to do with the one you’re replying to.
They’re calling out a cats fan for going way too early and rubbing it in before the game then disappearing, not whatever your rant is.

All I'm hearing is saltiness that you're now irrelevant while we are relevant. You can look backwards if you desire, 'yesterday's hero'. We'll live in the present, thank you!

Brayshaw last night stated that the blues have the most goals from frees in the competition, is that an accurate statement? Seemed a smidge on the nose

When you have 2 big targets down there and the defenders shit the bed when trying to stop them , of course they are going to get free kicks. That, on top of goals from holding the ball free kicks due to our forward pressure. Some clubs should take a leaf out of their book if they wish to attract the whistle more often , in those areas

The funny thing about losing is the real moron fans come out, and make fools of themselves.
You’re telling Carlton supporters about that ?

Their big forwards have had a very generous run all year with the officiating. But you tend get a good run when you are winning the ball, and it made zero difference to last night's result.

If you want to talk about officiating influencing games I would be taking a look at the run the Pies get in close games.

Bizarre post considering your constant "woe is us" lamentations.

One particular Geelong supporter has been trolling and death riding us all year, scoffed at our injuries, likened McKay to Hipwood, etc. Don't pretend you' wouldn't be doing the same thing were it a Carlton fan doing it to your team.

Most Cats fans here are all right, but if one of you keep posting garbage, expect some lip back (and a garbage bin to dunk them in).

Oh please. This year their frees have been way down given the amount of times they've been infringed upon.

I didn't know they had a present yet? Carlton are flag less this century, there were times when they were up for a long time too, but they've done nothing for decades. Geelong's reign is over, most sensible fans know that. But with 4 flags and more wins than any other team in the last 20 years , i feel fine!

I have watched most games this year. The two Carlton forwards have been the beneficiary of some generous umpiring - compared to other key forwards.
Back it up with some evidence. I can easily say in that watching all Carlton games this year, they've been getting considerably less compared to last year. Definitely the case for Curnow.

I gave you my opinion, which is based on what I have seen. If you have a different opinion fine, but note that one of us supports the team in question.
