It's pretty grim.

Allen and Waterman are experienced enough to lead the forward line and are much better players. Maric or Williams should be preferred to Darling as 3rd tall. This is a development season, we're not playing finals.

obvious he is a declined version, and the Maric/Williams fringe position is frustrating, but I feel Darling is delivering close to what he can right now and I respect that for now
