Yeah it’s an ugly look hey. We’d might as well just allow the coach himself to run out and bark instructions; it’s no different to what the runner was doing there.

That could well be the worst I've personally seen the runners impinge on the game for the past few years - which just shows AFL clubs/coaches can't be trusted to self-regulate in this area.
It's only a matter of a time before we have yet another easily avoidable AFL controversy.

Dealing with runners is such low hanging fruit for the AFL to fix.
