No expertise needed, but if you observe the Bulldogs in 2024, their fans don't even know when to tip them. Their game against Carlton was a good one, but the games they have lost when expected to do well have been horrific, defeats to the Bombers, Demons, Lions and Port taints their season badly. I take it you have missed the in Geelong part out of this stat. The Dogs would have been one of them last year, albeit we had the cue in the rack at that stage.

Dogs were 9th and we were 11th going into that game, we'd have only gone ahead of them if we won.

I think it's been three times though, we were ahead of North and lost in 2007 the week before the famous Richmond game but pretty sure we were also ahead on the ladder for Enright's 300th in 2015 and an early game against Carlton in the 2020 season before the league moved to Queensland. That said, I think we've only had six losses to Victorian teams since 2007 in total. The aforementioned Dogs game, Gawn sinking us after the siren to give them the minor premiership in 2021 and another game against North early in 2015. Non-Victorian teams hold 13 wins against us in that time, but they're all from GWS (4), Freo (4), Sydney (3) and Port (2).
