I’d love to see us get Worpel at 39... many say he’s had a bad year and maybe he’s not that good but I see a tough little bugger with a lot of mongrel about him and definately some great leaderships skills and talent.

I never said you didn’t know it... just giving you my reason why it has to be skinflute not stiffy!...
Meh you really don't use a draft pick. It's just a list spot. So if we want to use our 39th or whatever list spot on #77 then we do, if we want to use the list spot to upgrade Greenwood then that's what happens regardless of if our next pick is 77 or 177.
That said, did I hear Ogilvie say that we were probably going to go in 2 players short this year? If so, we mustn't rate anyone who is likely to be available late in the draft.
If we don't get Rayner it's a complete fail

Absolutely no chance that we will pick any of these guys at pick 12.
Firstly, check out the latest AFL fraft predictions and ignore the first 25 players.
Secondly, make a list of all players that can play as a third tall in defence.
Place in order based on their basketball ability.
And the winner is ...................

I have explained this over and over. You no longer require to use your picks on draft day to upgrade a rookie. They are not live selections. Greenwood and Keath are already upgraded giving us a list number of 36 players and the ability of drafting 4 more on the senior list to make it 40. We will probably just use 2 picks and go in with a list of 38 and pick 2 extra rookies but we dont have to. We are quite able to use pick 77 if we feel there is a player there that we rated higher. Like last year where we picked Ben Davis with our last pick. We wernt going to use that pick but when Davis was still there we got him.

Sorry about the tone. LOL. Its from listening to Rowey say the same thing as you even after Hamish said to him we weill use our first 2 picks and go in with a list of 38. I am just a little frustrated from repeating it so often. Its not hard. We can have a list of 40 if we want to. But by going in with 38 and the extra rookies we can put those rookies on 12 month contarcts instead of 2.
