If the AFL were complicit in players avoiding SIA testing and thus being in breach of WADA code, there's a whole s**t ton of govt funding about to be flushed down the toilet. Not to mention the match fixing implications.
This is the big story.

I don't think match fixing allegations would hold water, or they would have been discovered (irregular bets would be spotted.) But if players and officials are named, WADA will be looking for SIA to hand out 2 year bans for fun.

So how is this any different to breath testing yourself before driving home? And if you blow over you don’t drive?
I think it’s like being law that the cops are at the exit of the pub car park. But you’re breath testing yourself while fumbling for your seatbelt and rolling to the exit, then suddenly pulling into to the disabled car park when you blow over.

But you haven’t broken any laws though?

The problem is that this is allegations from someone the AFL will paint as a "disgruntled former employee".

For it to go anywhere either the government or WADA would have to launch an independent investigation.

Will it happen? Most probably not, it will more than likely just get swept under the carpet.
