We may as well play finals, might be good experience for Quaynor, Daicos, Brown etc., but frankly we’re garbage and were it not for the fact we don’t have a first rounder, I’d say we’re wasting our time in there anyway.

Get everyone in for surgery and rip up the training ground surface for 2020.

And can we actually trade to fix some weaknesses instead of another bloody midfielder...

They are so clean. Great footy from them. Our midfield is currently the worst in the league and by some margin.

Your midfield is the best in the league. In case anyone had forgotten: your Pies reminded everyone a couple of weeks ago in Perth just how good they can be.

Yes, there's obviously a problem right now (I reckon it's a combination of lack of a key fwd + confidence + coaching strategy - which may or may not be down to Bucks) but beating us on our home deck is proof it can be fixed relatively easily.

And yes, Tigers are roaring tonight which is probably making it look worse than it is.

The Pies are a quality side and have a list capable of winning a flag. It could be a **** load worse. I mean, imagine if you had Adelaide's list and Adelaide's potato head captain and power ranger poses before games...

Those last two goals are paper over the cracks. We were terrible, and that quarter proves that 2018 was a fluke.

I don’t think fluke is a fair word. I think it does just prove that when you’ve got a handful of players who have been or will be average for most of their career, that all it takes the elevate yourself to premiership contention is for those players to find an extra 5%. Your good players are always gonna be good, it’s what you can get out of your middle and lower tiers that makes the difference.

Our injury list is extensive, but the list of players who are still fit but dropped back to the pack of okay footballers is longer.
