INS: Wood, Johnson (sub)
OUTS: Jolly, Sinclair

Preferably I would prefer Johnson to have another week in the twos but I really want to see Sinclair out.
Bloke struggles to hit a target.
Would love to see Johnno come in as the sub and play a qtr.

B - Toovey Brown Maxwell
HB - O'Brien Reid Shaw
C - Blair Wellingham Sidebottom
HF - Thomas Cloke Fasolo
F - Didak Dawes Tarrant
R- Wood Beams Pendlebury
INT - Clarke Elliott Seedsman

SUB - Johnson

Although I think we may only make the 1 change with Jolly out for Wood.

Rest Jolly WTF?

No injuries; no changes.

If Jolls has corkie, might need to play Wood (if he's fit).

If Daisy's cork is best rested an extra week, jiggered if I know. We've hit injury bottom and are looking up. But not yet looking at Johnno, Kraks or Caffa. They are the shining lights at the end of the tunnel. Johnno ran out half a game, but his weight/conditioning is not grand. He might yet get 'super sub' role in a week or two more. Sometime after that he might slot in and we have Kraks as 'super slippery sub'.

For now, if Daisy is out and we have no-one else coming back from injury, it might be Rounds for a final hurrah run-with against Harvey, or Young in as a VFL strong man with limited disposal hurts so far. Neither screamed out 'pick me' in the game vs Sandy.

In my opinion, rest up jolly this week, then, play him against West Coast Eagles, then rest him against Essendon.
A nice rest before finals-sounds nice to me

If Jolly is a bit sore we should give him a rest but I don't know if Wood should replace him. I honostly think Witts or Ceglar can do a better job then that heartless footballer.

I know it could be a big risk blooding a first gamer ruckman but I have completely lost faith in Wood's ability and his heart. Hopefully Jolly pulls up well, he is our most important player by far. If he goes down and we have to play any of the other three ruckmen then we are ****ed!

News from the HUN is that Adams will be out for the season, not sure of the outcome with Wells anyone heard?

Why does everyone always want to rest Jolly every week? Didn't he just have a rest 2 weeks ago? How fragile is this guy? I thought one of the reasons we wanted him was because he was durable.

I say he should play unless he is actually injured (which makes it not a rest). Surely now is the time to start settling the team as much as possible. Not to mention we still have a chance at top 2, but we will need to win every game, and to do that we need Jolly to play.

Gee I hope you guys rest Jolly, like you are suggesting. Goldy would have a field day against Wood.

I don't think we'd want to rest Jolly. But it doesn't seem we have much choice.

He got pretty battered against Sydney, and then we're flying to WA so he can take on Cox/Nic Nat. It looks like one of those calls we might have to make unfortunately.

He's very fragile now, 2011 was tough for him. Not to mention we should give Wood another game before the finals just in case he goes down.

Those who want to rest Jolly are showing a huge amount of disrespect to North, if we don't bring our A game we are going to get smashed, they are are playing some good footy, especially at Etihad.

Jolly has hit some very good form, it is not the time to rest him, especially up against Goldstein.

Jolly has got the shit knocked out of him in 2 games now. With bumps and bruises to the head and knees to the back. You know he's not going to be at 100% so why play him?

So what's plan B if Jolly goes down in he 1st half after being battered from the past two weeks.

It's not disrespectful to North it would be if we rested 2-3 players it's just a risk we can't take going into finals.

Didn't he rest against GWS 2 or 3 weeks ago? I'm sure the last thing he wants is to be on the sidelines again just as he is building up some form to take into September.

Yeah he has copped some bumps and bruises, so has everyone else. Lets focus on cementing a top 2 berth and if we have to rest him do it in the last round after a trip to Perth against Cox/Naitanui.

Don't know if Krakouer is ready. I'd love to get Johnson into the side but I can't see him being ready yet.

Hopefully Thomas is ok and Goldsack is right toplay. Goldsack should come in for Sinclair and I'd play Rounds for Elliot to give Elliot a chance to get some confidence at a lower level and Rounds a chance to play at the higher level in case we need soldiers in September due to injury. I don't think that change makes any difference to the game as they are probably on a par right now.

The following week I'd be trying to give Johnson a game if possible and possibly Krakouer for the final round.

Based on Saturday night I wouldn't rest Jolly. Let him keep playing and working into top shelf form. He will need to be at his best in September and he had a rest recently.

Watch the replay again - Jolly copped one in the ribs (I'm sure that's what they said?) and he had to go down to the rooms at half-time to get the "juice". He'd be pretty damn sore by now, as would about 6-7 other boys after a bruising encounter (Thomas, Pendlebury, Fasolo, Toovey and more were all limping at some point).

I don't want Jolly to go out this week either - I think it's going to be a really surprisingly tough encounter.

No way would Sinclair go out - he was putting himself physically on the line and running hard against Sydney. We need more of his speed and reckless abandon on the smaller Etihad ground. Same with Billy Elliot. I think this is going to be a much faster, ping-pong game of football. For this reason neither Krak nor Caff would be appropriate.

No unforced changes, I'd say.

I agree with all these points, I wouldn't be surprised to see a high-scoring game against North. Hopefully Thomas will get up but I get a feeling Goldsack won't be ready yet.
