No, it's a team that was created from zilch and called Port Adelaide Power. The REAL Port Adelaide has never budged from the SANFL.

You're wrong. Port Adelaide Football Club moved to the AFL and a new SANFL side Port Magpies replaced them in the SANFL. Since then they've merged.
Port Adelaide's new logo is a real head trip as I remember scrolling through BF and seeing that near identical mockup ages ago.

Apparently Wines camp had asked Carlton to make an offer. The pies are shopping around 3-4 players to fit in their ruckman. Just goes to show how much of a tight ship we run with not shopping players around and going out and getting a gun player in.

If they could get aish and menedue with late picks it would be 2 instant best 22 players both with good kicking skills .
Aish to the backline which allows blakley to play on ball .
Menedue to a wing where langdon was .
Keep hill as he is still contracted for 2 years .
Pick 6 + henry then get back into the draft with future pick to pick up maybe sharp in the 20s would be a massive off season .

To be fair to Collingwood (and Richmond to an extent, although we had a similar situation to their Ellis loss with Lycett last year) - the issue has come a few years after trading in big names. We are less than a week into having TK on our list. No doubt we 'feel' like our salary cap is under control - but these things are maybe better judged in 3-4 years.
Well sitting back watching the drama of trade period unfold with the Eagles done and dusted is interesting.
It just indicates how professionally we are run IMO.
Wines the current Port captain approaching the Blues to move. WOW!

Multiple clubs at stalemate as they can't agree on player values.
Geelong being campaigners over pick 37 for Stevens.
Freo being greedy and burning off other clubs and copping criticism for being unrealistic.

I love that Freo keep taking all these fringe WA players out of West Coast's grasp like Conca and Menedue, it allows us to concentrate on getting A graders like the Yeo's and Kelly's of the world.

Aish and Menadue aren't that good. Happy for Freo to keep recruiting plodders like them and McCarthy, Conca, Colyer etc because it seems winning trade week is more important than winning flags.

Picking fringe players for value trades to fill a need is a very good strategy. Hawks do this very well also
We have jetta , cripps , vardy , yeo , redden all value trades apart from redden and all played in a premiership .
