Population growth is slightly above the 20-year average, and it's making up for two years of ~zero just before that. Migration over the past 4 years is lower than that of the previous 4 years. And our population is growing 1.5% per annum, much slower than the 50's and 60's.

You should try looking at the shit the LNP say more, they love identity politics. Divide and Conquer is the strategy the GOP relied heavily upon, and Dutton is very much pushing a similar line here.

Most of what gets called 'woke' is basically summed up as 'don't be a campaigner' which is weirdly controversial atm. People seem to pine for the days when punching down at minorities was all good, whilst conversative media / politicians / talking heads keep telling them how WOKE the world is, at odds with the experience most people actually have in their day-to-day lives.
