I have made a summary for those going and need tickets...

Members of the opposition team can purchase tickets from 9am
Monday, August 31. If purchasing tickets for the Gabba please ensure
that you request tickets in the area set aside for members of your Club.
Competing club members can purchase one (1) ticket per membership.

Tickets will be available from Ticketek outlets (including Gate 2 at the
Gabba) or by phoning 132 849.

General public can also purchase tickets via ticketek.com.au

And if we request tickets in the area set aside, is it expected that the outlets will know what we're talking about. Have had some terrible experiences in the past. Also, has anyone been able to find a venue map? Just trying to work out the difference between standard/prime/premium seats.

Amazingly, it looks as if QANTAS are about the cheapest flights. A touch over $400 will get you to Brisbane and back.

They should be better organized- this year things went well for us here in Perth with this. I think it will be OK and at least we have some allocation that is ours without a doubt.

Probably have to drag myself out of bed by midday, hang around doing bugger all until about 5pm, drive to Garden City, leave my car, grab a free bus which takes about 15 minutes, walk about 200 metres to the ground. Man that will be taxing but I will do it just to represent all of you.

Just in case I didn't hate uni enough already, I now have a mid-semester test on the Monday after, so I won't be able to make the trip.

Not a good enough excuse I'm sorry! I've got a 40% exam on Tuesday and a 30% exam Wednesday and I was already looking for flights to Melbourne to go watch the boys.

Get your arse to Brisbane!!

We just spent a bucket load on airfare and accomodation for 2 ppl....the funny this is that we don't have tickets for the game yet

No way, I wanted to come to Melbourne for a game. I haven't been to a hoome game since 2005 when we beat Richmond by 30 points (who were in the top 8 at that stage and we were coming off an 11 game losing streak). There's nothing worse than being outnumbered 50-1. I wanted to hear the roars for MY team for a change. So everyone get your arses to Brisbane!!!

Looking to get QANTAS tickets as they are the cheapest (surprisingly) and that means QANTAS club! . Now need to find some cheap accomadtion in close proximity to the ground...

Wish I wasn't living in the USA for the first half of the season (past membership deadline)....

IF any Carlton member wants to make a quick $20 and they're NOT going to the game I'm in need of 2 tickets. Will pay $10 per ticket over face value. Give me a private message. Will pay to sit in as good a spot as possible. Just want tickets for my fiance and I. She asked to go to Brisbane last week if it turned out that way so this is part of her engagement present (as well as the ring, of course).

booking game seats tomorrow, then will worry about the flights tomorrow night. so far will cost about $350 to get there and back with flights i've found, not bad a bad price for love.
