I dont think anyone will get the sack

who do you think has a better chance of making the finals: Port or carlton

Good question. I'll say Port, because Choco rarely has 2 bad years in a row. Plus Salopek will dominate, Cornes will be back and Westhoff might actually put some time in the gym this summer.

If Geelong and Hawthorn somehow both miss out on the Grand Final in 2009, who will replace them?

The Western Bulldogs & Adelaide would be the most likely to take their places.

Do you think we will see a female boundary umpire in the next 5 years or so? I thought that we might have seen a girl running the line by now, but it still hasn't happened yet.

which player will be the biggest improver in 09?

Lachlan Hansen

Eventually yes.

Will Richmond or Carlton finish top 4 next year?

I think he'll go around one more year after that, just because Richmond will finally be going deep into the finals, and he'll still be more than a contributor. I hope he does anyway, he deserves some finals action.

Is the current Power side closer to the top 4 side of 2007 or the bottom 4 side of 2008 in terms of ability?

Definitely closer to the top 4. After Geelong, however, you could really throw a blanket over about 9-10 teams.

I think Port suffered for blowing those big leads early in the season, particularly against Brisbane.

St Kilda had a horrible 2008 finals campaign. Can that list now, plus Cousins presumably, get them a flag? When does the window shut for the Saints?
