Not sure why we never employ a specialist forward line/goal kicking coach.......
Oh of course - our forward line entries and delivery skills are so abominable that it's just a waste of money.

Id look forward to him sitting next to Ken and pointing to all the positional errors and changes needed and watching Ken screw up his face.

It's a given that the club is not looking far outside itself but I also reckon that we are at the state of being unappealing again. We should've dumped Hinkley 6 years ago when we were still looking appealing. We have to hope that these past players have got the goods.

No, 7 news only mentioned Hartlett as development coach and Goldsack as Magpies coach.
So to summarise where we're currently at for coaching roles for 2023:
If this is what we end up with, we can't expect any success in 2023. The hope I guess is that we're keeping it bare bones to allow a new senior coach to bring in his own people at the end of 2023.
- Senior coach: Hinkley
- Forwards: Bassett
- Mids: Carr
- Defence: Cornes still?
- Sanfl: Goldsack
- Dev coaches: Hartlett and Luke Kelly (assume he's staying on)

I'll still go with my mail as I trust it that Bass is back to backline - wonder what's happening to forward line then, perhaps a coach who finished up yesterday? Gray? Chadbro?
