Still wouldn't discount Marnus goes up to open.....and an option comes into the middle order......Mcsweeney Inglis to name a few
The bloke with 10,000 first class runs @ 43?
Marnus to open isn't a bad shout. He's been poor at no.3 in the last few years. Marsh/head/smith don't want to open.
Maybe bring back David Warner?

Hate this robbing Peter to pay Paul idea. He’s our best 3 averages 50 there
He averaged 70 odd his first 60% of innings at 3 and about 30-35 there after.
South Africa are currently playing with 5 keepers in their XI for the first Test v Bangladesh
Nearly a year since he retired and still Australian cricket is really no closer to deciding who is a genuinely good prospect to take his place as opener.Maybe bring back David Warner?
Keepers putting everyone to shame at the moment. How many can we fit in?
They won't do it, but injecting the side with serious youth like Konstas wouldn't be the worst thing.

Indictment on the system.
Plus when you consider the other opener is about to turn 38, could easily be his last summer
Agreed, watched a replay and thought it was close, perhaps would’ve been overturned with ball tracking, but not a shocker. Thought the Harri’s decision was worse, albeit still not a shocker - god he’s frustrating to watch.Bolland does get alot of bounce and it was angling toward leg but I don't think it was an out and out shocker.
Im worried about smudge Luke....he looks shocking....keeps playing soccer and get hits on the pads all the timeSmith too let’s be real if he lasts a summer I’ll be surprised Marsh hardly young either and injury prone
