Really disappointed that Prithvi Shaw never made a name for himself.

Only played 5 test matches and 6 One day internationals.

Was hyped to be the next Sachin Tendulkar as a young master prodigy.

After watching the documentary Beyond All Boundaries (2013) where it follows a young Prithvi I was a fan for life and expected massive things.

Such a shame it never worked out.

He’s only 25. I doubt he’ll ever have a huge career but it wouldn’t surprise if he bobs up somewhere. He played a handful of games for Northants in the English summer (and failed) and is back playing first class cricket in India where he still has a fine record albeit probably not stand-outish enough to get close to the test side in the immediate future

Massive gap between bat and pad, from memory. Got worked out pretty quickly in tests.

The media build up for this series has been superb. The adverts from fox and 7, the full front & back page in the papers. Hopefully the series lives up to the hype!
the Fox Cricket preview/discussion panel sucked, and the newspaper coverage is hit and miss. They should make it more like the old ABC Cricket books.

Ridiculous they are dropping Sarfraz who is one that plays the short ball well
Agree with this. He loves the short ball. I would play Kohli at 3 and move the order up to fit both Jurel and Sarfaraz in for this game. Drop Padikkal

Don’t think you need to move Virat like smith is a genuine 4

You forgot to account for the rain in Sydney

What's the deal with this bloke?

27yo, averaging 65 in FC cricket, scored a 200 in the Irani Cup.

Against New Zealand he went

0 and 150

11 and 9

0 and 1

Would I be right in guessing he was scapegoated for that series loss?

Yeah, five bad scores in there, but at his age and with his FC record surely you give him some time ???

In the same series, Kohli went

0 and 70

1 and 17

4 and 1

93 runs total

Sharma went

2 and 52

0 and 8

18 and 11

91 runs total

What am I missing here?

India have gone from batting down to 9 to a Swiss cheese lineup with rishabh underpants at 5.

Why Rahul at all, why padikkal for Sarfaraz
