You reckon? Soldo looks desperate for a rest to me.

I said he "battled well", which of course takes into account the fact he's been playing under duress for weeks. Not sure why you would read anything else into it other than what I plainly stated.

Like the Port game, he fought it out well for a young bloke playing below full fitness/freshness. Was still winning HTA's in the last quarter (including the all important first centre bounce), finished with 8 HTA's which is again above the season average of all the elite rucks, plus took that contested mark in a pack of three Suns and converted though exhausted in the final minutes.

Witts has been super important to the Suns, he's a major element of their scoring from stoppages (they are #1 in the comp) and he's got the better of some good rucks this year, but he gave them no advantage over the course of the night when 1:1 against Soldo. Their game rankings were almost identical, Witts got a major portion of his ranking while opposed to Chol, plus we nursed Soldo with only 68% time on ground compared to the 92% Witts had.

Good effort all things considered.

Lol. Did anyone see that second shot from the grassy knoll? Academy award winning worthy
On the radio earlier Whately highlighted that it wasn’t even Lynch who brought him down anyway it was Aarts.

Frustrating game to watch.
Should have been three or four goals up at quarter time.
Should have been three or four goals down at half time.
Five day break eventually caught up with the Suns.
Cotchin was magnificent. That's one of the best games he has played for years.
McIntosh was superb in the second half.
Short and Vlastuin controlled things in defence.
Liked Markov's game. Used the ball very well.
Good to see Jack R back in form.
Grimes hasn't been great the past few games.
Thought Rioli had his best game of the season.
George is really struggling as is Stack.

Not surprising with Cotch back and Jack Graham helping out .

Was funny reading Graham cop shit in the game thread. It’s all about supercoach and aesthetics for some people But last night in that first half I just kept thinking thank **** he’s out there! He was one of a handful like you point out with Cotch around the contest keeping us hanging on for dead life, just through old fashioned hard at it shit while a lot of bigger names watched on.

Not really.
Can you imagine this bloody board if he was an oppo player? The sooking would be nauseating.
It’s like the sooking about the umps and the commentators. The commentary one cracks me up, it’s all theatre and trying to promote the game.. get the underdog up in a feel good story to knock the big bullies off.
How quickly we forget! Not so long ago it was us who were being talked up and crap in “big games” where we were way out of our league and it was cringeworthy. Give me these days where everyone wants to try to beat you any day over that cringe fest and then subsequent melting in here after people swallowed the media hype about us only for us to get smashed by way better teams.
Tigers fans should enjoy our players being despised by other fans, enjoy the media trying to build up the big achievement of beating the tigers.
It means we are a ******* good team and I know what I’d rather any day!

Yes, it`s jealousy of our recent success.

They have to get us back in other ways like saying we are favoured, bagging our players etc. because they`ve got nothing else.
It used to be ridicule, 9th, can`t win finals etc.
We`ve destroyed all those ones for them so now it`s just hate.

I mean no disrespect to Aarts here when I say this, but if people are wanting someone to be looked at for suspension, it should be him, not Lynch.

Collins chased Lynch on the lead immediately after the initial contact, so it clearly wasn't very forceful. It was Aarts hit that dropped him.

But because Aarts isn't a household name it doesn't fit the agenda of the witch hunt mob / haters.

You plainly stated he shaded Witts overall. I didn't see it that way. Witts had the 2nd most clearances on the ground, took more marks, linked up through the middle quite a few times and actually moved the ball forward occasionally.

Plus the commentators kept picking on lynch

After the match Gary Lyon was 100% certain it was Lynch. Annoying.

They're always lagging on players, and it sickens me.

Why? It generates fodder for the crap they do in between the games (i.e. sell advertising).

Just look at us, major rebuild dramatics all last week, the kids go out and have promising game against the 2nd place side, and then that's off the agenda & move on to some other manufactured bullshit like this.

I agree with your sentiments and reading Twitter today is bloody hilarious but we shouldnt just sit back and accept the bitter salty attacks either.

I thought the sea level rising was due to global warming, its no coincidence that this rise has occurred more frequently since we broke our drought. The salty tears have been massive and constant.

I think George and Stack need a rest/spell. Maybe not both in the one week and if so I'd keep Stack as I rate his upside more.

Just not sure which troops can cover, Markov forward? Baker forward? Perhaps give Dow a shot?

They’ll both just get a fine.

This will be the most interesting selection table for the year if Aarts or Lynch dont get suspended. Who's left out for Houli & Nanks return??? surly they cant drop Markov after having another superb game. If its me Baker gets moved forward and Rioli is omitted BUT what I think will happen is either Markov or George gets dropped depending on where Baker plays. Nank comes in for Chol if Lynch isn't suspended. I'd also replace Stack for Caddy but that wont be happening.

OUT: Markov/George/Aarts & Chol/Lynch
IN: Houli, Nank

When did lynch punch? A punch is a closed fist, forceful blow. Not what Lynch did. Don’t be a sheep RD, you’re better than that
I can’t tell if he did or he didn’t just from watching on TV so can only go on his form, the other blokes response and the melting.

Just watch Mince Whateley go to town tonight over the Lynch-Collins incident.

You already know what this bureaucratic outraged nerd is going to say.
He’s already spoken and is the one who pointed it wasn’t Lynch.

I'm surprised hes stopped saying how top blokes dank. Weapon jobe. Etc. Are.

That Jake Aarts is a thug.

Wrecking ball.

Should have a muzzle
