Yet people on bigfooty get the blame and apparently from what I heard on fiveaa today they hope their listeners are more intelligent than those on social media, bigfooty etc.

I would rate IQ of the following highest to lowest:

Someone mentioned it earlier but the difference between Rowe and McDermott and a lot of other shows around the country is the other shows have hosts who people respect and are qualified to discuss sport from different angles. Bone and Rowe pretty much just get the listeners worked up and take opinion calls and then rely on the experts like Caro to bring the content.

I do listen to the first hour or two most nights but have found myself switching off a lot sooner and not tuning in less often.

I'd like to see them move from the Lindy callers and quick weekly interviews to having either hosts who can bring what the "experts" do on their own or maybe a rotating 3rd host who sits in for the whole show. Kane Cornes goes alright on his weekend shifts and could provide a Port perspective and doesn't mind talking about both clubs and different sports either. There are a couple of our players who have done similar. Someone from the interstate media could do it from another studio.

That is true of some on this board sure but Bone IMO just isn't that bright. He is allowed to be negative but needs to back up his views with analysis, rather than just platitudes.

Yes! I was going to mention it in my earlier post actually haha. Especially when he's spoke against something earlier in the show, then a guest is on who is for that thing and he still does it.

Thank you, it's awful! He is just getting worse! I used to think he was alright when he was on fiveaa mornings plus crows special comments person but now it's too much!

Hopefully he gets the flick.

The funniest Bone moment was when someone wrote in saying that he always says "all day, every day" and he swore up and down that he had never said that phrase in his life - and was promptly inundated with SMS after SMS telling him otherwise

the whole players have to much say rubbish really annoys me. All that is different is that clubs have got better at reviewing performance and that includes finding out what the players think. No one in the media seems to argue that as a coach if you are doing your job well then the players are on side and buying into your message. The lesson from the recent sackings should be that people management skills and the ability to hold a consistent and clear message is of paramount importance for an AFL coach . But what would I know I'm just a dumb arse bigfooty numbnut

Exactly you are one of those social media radicals that are not true supporters because you get stuck into the club every chance you get for no reason with no real knowledge about how the game works PLUS you don't sign your real name at the end of every post like you should so must mean you have something to hide.

IMO people living in SA deserve better local footy media coverage, it's pretty sad really

IMO the local media should be targeting ex players from SA who did not play for either ADEL or Port and bring them back home through a media opportunity that way we should start to see some non bias media coverage
