Yes and just like Griffiths did in 2015, Vickery regressed on his form in 2014 some of which was due to injury and suspension stopping him from getting continuity in his game. Very similar circumstances to Griffiths in 2015. Improvement is not always linear, sometimes a player will have a down year before taking a bigger step up later on. That was my point, just because a player doesn't step up one year doesn't mean that we should just get rid of them.I had Griffiths ahead of Ty this time last year. The biggest thing that stands out for me with Griff is that he has lost that x factor of ability to bomb a long goal to change momentum. Without this he is a run of the mill average fwd. My judgement is not based on how it ended but over the full season. Just hasnt bounded fwd imo.... the other thing atm is he has currency at the trade table. It will come down as to weather they believe McBean can take his role on.
