Essendon have always been flakey, I reckon they will fall in a hole in the next few weeks too.
I like our team again this week. Bringing in talented youngsters and things can turn around quickly.
I wouldn't be surprised if we win tonight. Paying $2.80, pretty tempting.
We are great at winning these matches at the end of the season to hurt our draft position.

The only side they've beaten that's currently in the 8 is GWS by 20 points at Marvel. The $2.80 is very tempting.

We could win all our remaining games and we'd be lucky to move 2 spots in thee draft

Edit: and I bet a lot of money we won't come close to winning all our remaining games.

It's the Saints I'm worried about and the FA compo they get for Battle, there's a couple of spots straight away.
Yeah same, but those couple of spots is all it'll be. Should get a cracker of a recruit no matter which one. Fingers crossed Draper for me.

Come over for the game , although only showers so far very cold and windy .
Looking forward to seeing the kids perform and RT to build on last week . Also hoping Smith out and Curtin in . Well allowed to hope .

I assume he'll start on Langford or the resting ruck (either Draper or Goldy).

I'm not too concerned about being too tall TBH. I actually think the balance is pretty good. And could potentially end up a tough task for their defence
Langford is a bit too slippery for Butts. An excellent player in fact. Not sure who matches up best but reckon Murray starts where named on Langford.

FWIW I think our backline can account for their forwardline comfortably on the proviso our mids can put enough pressure on. Which is a big proviso because that's where we've been towelled up pretty bad last few times (crap umpiring excluded).

Not rocket science but interesting to watch

Yeah but, the conditions last week turned it into a territory battle, so I'm not surprised all we tried to do was gain territory even with the taps. I reckon early on we weren't doing this and that was why we went so bad first qtr. Gonna be interesting to watch tonight to see what he does in dry conditions. Thanks for the vid 👍

Good point, I'm not sure ROB has much tactical variation but I'll be watching this battle and positioning tonight.
