The part that annoys me is the commentators talking about the what the umps are doing.

I find it a tad ironic that Lingy is telling Razor to stop telling players what to do and concentrate on getting decisions right when he’s not giving us anything insightful on his job as a special comments man other than talking about the umpires.

It was draining listening to Darcy, Ling, Richy etc constantly just talk about what happened 10 mins earlier.
Follow the game call the game talk about what happened earlier at the breaks—- it ain’t hard.
We are at home tuning in to listen to your expert analysis not your running commentary about what an umpire should be or shouldn’t be doing

I don't agree with the umpire intervening, but the same people will piss and moan about off the ball tactics when NO injury is involved.

The shifting of the goalposts in the coverage and following of this game is outstanding.

I don't see this 'not injured enough' clause written anywhere in the Laws of Australian Football, where is this......? All I see is 17.12 (e) makes unreasonable or unnecessary contact with an injured opposition Player;
Cameron is not 'injured'. If they have put him back on the field that is fair game. Its meant for players freshly injured not ones that have opted to play on

Not injured if you are back on the ground playing. Rules as intended is that injured means someone down injured or trying to come off injured.

The irony being that rule was bought in because of Brisbane

His arm bent in an unnatural manner in the footage. He was treated by doctors. Has his arm strapped and appears to be struggling to use it.
Your expert medical opinion is there's nothing wrong with him?

Just going by the way he got the motorbike out after kicking a goal, flew for a mark one-handed with the bad arm and scooped the ball up one-handed with the bad arm. Yeah he’s occasionally had the arm hanging limp and useless by his side when the ball’s out of his zone, but he’s competitive enough when the ball comes in.

Doesn’t need special protection in any case.
