You would still be ridiculed if the former title had been retained.I was being facetious. I once started a thread called ‘Grundy to Centre Half Forward.’ I was ridiculed for it. It is now the Grundy, Cox and Cameron thread.

The only reason it was changed was because someone (I forget who) started to digress and write about another player in the Grundy to CHF thread. I then reminded them of the thread title. The following day, wollah, the thread title got changed. You would still be ridiculed if the former title had been retained.
Look, we played today without Grundy and we lost.
QED.
Same logic you use. What do you say?
Yes, in 2019 form.Would have been nice to have the big fella out there tonight
Definitely one of your less offensive ones.Oh come on. Who took the Delorean comment down. That was some of my best work. Using the back to the future connection to disqualify even needing a crystal ball.
It was comedy gold……Gold Jerry..Gold.
Oh well there is always next week. Another where Grundy won’t be playing. He’ll be enjoying his chess game with other mates. While his team mates are killing the selves to finish as high as they can.
Hopefully he can find time to help his team mates with the finals campaign at least.

Definitely - but to Longmires frustration.
According to Wade he’s been break personal bests in the Gym - so I think you’re a little off the mark.Brodie was one of the best players in the comp in 2017-19 and my fave pies player by far. He was a cheat code, it was almost like having an extra player at the contest at all times. What he provided in his role was unprecedented, winning stacks on his own contested ball, clearances and tackles while his opposition couldn't do anything but try nullify his influence. But those days are long gone now, for the past 3 years I've watched him barely able to jump, kick, or bend over without looking like he's carrying a military backpack and don't even get me started on his marking. I thought things might change for him with new a fitness staff and coaches but over the preseason and beginning of the season actual he was much the same, on the decline. Collingwood know he's physically cooked and if that wasn't obvious from watching him play just look at his current day physique, he's half the size from his prime and half the player.

I would take half that player he was , hence why he is been shown the door. Does not want to entertain taking a hair cut , as is his right , but his fake persona shines through, all about himself , if he was somewhat genuine , how about doing the right thing about your “ best” so called mate Treloar, bye bye Bubble boy. Give me a player who cares about the club. Aka Maynard.Brodie was one of the best players in the comp in 2017-19 and my fave pies player by far. If only we had the money to recruit another clearance midfielder.
What’s really sad is you read the top 50 paid AFL players and see all the genuine match winners below Brodie on the list.
That’s fair enough. On his day he was a match winner though. Question is whether he can get bqck to the best in the comp or not.
Which is where the frustration comes from, he hasn’t shown that form at all since he signed his lifetime contract. In 2020 it was blamed on Covid and bubble fatigue but 2 years later, still no signs.
At 29 you can’t really see a big man regaining what was his strength as most big men at his age just become useful for their size and a big target, yet that’s something he has never been any good at.
It’s why I feel he’s better off elsewhere and we use those funds to get in a bull midfielder we so desperately need, a 24 year old Taranto on 600-700k is better value. If we can off load Grundys entire contract and then pick up a cheap backup ruckman for a year or two it gives us that necessary depth to cover injuries and we’re a better side already.
Definitely one of your less offensive ones.
It’s very odd how much you hold Grundy’s injury against him
No one will take Grundy’s whole contract. Also, he’s younger than Gawn. In fact, a lot of rucks go for years, like Goldstein At north.
I never said he wasn’t there, I only said they never seem to highlight him being there, which suggests he mightn’t be there. He does not appear to sit with other Collingwood officials.
...
I also wasn't there - I'm carrying a couple of age-related injuries. My wife has awarded me a new contract. Was Adams?
No silver linings in the clouds over my head.I haven't looked up at the sky yet today, therefore I assume it's not there.
There were some lovely cloud formations in the Ovens Valley on the weekend. As I looked up at them and gazed intently into nature's artwork I could see several magical clearance set ups.No silver linings in the clouds over my head.
Could you see a couple of big bodied mids and a KPP?There were some lovely cloud formations in the Ovens Valley on the weekend. As I looked up at them and gazed intently into nature's artwork I could see several magical clearance set ups.
Hard to tell which was the best.
