I rate Bucks so I'll take that. He could probably work a little on the relationship side of things though.M8 that sounds like Nathan Buckley...

I don't think we'd be carrying him in regardless and personally I think the wins are more important at this stage. I think we are a better chance to win with him playing, so he plays if I'm picking the side.I like Bucks and agree.
There is still room for some sentimality or credits in the bank if you want to call it that. For instance getting a bloke to a 100 games or picking an out of form player for his long term team mates milestone game. Sure it may seem insignificant but that 'relationship' stuff can make a difference in club 'vibe', performance and player retention/attraction IMO.
The best teams have something that goes beyond professionalism and ensuring Boyd plays that Murphy game informs that IMO.
Yep. This is professional sport. Bob's 300th is irrelevant in the decision whether to drop or retain Boyd.
He was strangely quiet. Even if he doesn't get many stats, he usually has an impact. Didn't really have much yesterday at all.Not mentioned but Wood was virtually unsighted until the last qtr too.
I think his fitness is fine, I think his form and touch is ordinary, the two are quite different. But IS Crammers MATCH fitness that great ? I don't think it is. Availability of our diminishing big man stocks may mean he has to play regardless
Playing over 250 games together is so different to being great mates off field

It is different but the club is above everyone and everything. If we've got someone fit to play that can contribute more than M. Boyd is at the moment, which I'd hazard a guess that we do, then he shouldn't play.
Fully understand now the club's reluctance to give him another year last year. Has been a phenomenal contributor for our club over a long period of time but I think he's gone one year too long.
That's fair.Cmon mate, absolute bullshit
Marcus Adams was responsible for those goals, not Biggs late in the game last week, Adams doesn't kick down the line in the third, goes across the face and ***** up, goal Freo, he nearly did the same thing just before 3 quarter time also but was saved by the siren.
Last quarter Biggs gets a bad bounce in the back pocket, Adams is too busy worrying about his opponent rather than mopping up after Biggs and Walters IIRC swooped and goaled. If someone like Morris was helping out then he would've won the footy and cleared that or put Biggs out into space. Adams has a long way to go with his footy smarts/decisions.
Biggs is not a good one on one player under the high ball, but he gives the team plenty of grunt. Was one of our best against Sydney imo where his strengths were utilised more being able to tidy up behind the ball regularly when we pressed high up the field instead of sitting in deep defence which doesn't suit him.
While Biggs may have turned the ball over early on in the prelim, his grunt and second efforts definitely helped, anything constructive he did ended up being influential for us that night imo.
I feel a bit the same. I've been pretty surprised at the flack Biggs has got for his game last week. I thought he was good until at least mid 3rd quarter. Walters hadn't done anything and Biggs spent a lot of time with him. Of course the end of his game was pretty bad, but it wasn't a shockingly terrible performance that some people are making it out to be I don't think.Cmon mate, absolute bullshit

Maybe the ear is still a bit ginger, should have worn the helmet again.I'm not saying he will go out but sentimentality won't play a part. He should lift for every game, the professional that he is.
It's just not going to happen. Move on.Yep. This is professional sport. Bob's 300th is irrelevant in the decision whether to drop or retain Boyd.
We did 7 hours ago, after we agreed it wasn't going to happen...It's just not going to happen. Move on.
