i'm sorry but scott only wants to win, he only ever "plays the kids" when we're mathematically not a chance - virtually every coach (except those in extreme rebuilds) play the experience players to try and win every week. It's up to list management and match committee to push the case for playing the kids.
But you also seem to not understand that it's a balance of youth and experience - otherwise you throw in all the kids and end up like brisbane, suns, carlton and melbourne, left with a losing culture that gets the club no where.
"stubborn faith to the game plan" is not what happens when you're 5 goals up and then lose the lead in one quarter, that's 100% on the players no being switched on after half time.
I'm glad you made that point though because it's been VERY clear throughout this year that after halftime the players have more often than not come out with a new message that they've understood and executed well. This in fact proves your point totally false.
the admin and football dept comment is backed up by no evidence, you're again wrong with this and i'm not going to say why unless you bother to write an argument instead of making statements like that because you're emotional.
mish mash of ideologies - thanks for that evidence, really rams your point home.....and i love how you have somehow linked that with player development. such a rational argument!
Thought I replied to your post in a calm, reasoned, thought out and respectful manner.....anyway..
I flip it on to you and give you a chance to give a counter arguement of which im very happy to be proven wrong, but what did you define as a successful year this year, and what have you seen this year that gives you hope that there will be significant improvement over the next couple of years?
