Not really a huge fan of these changes, talia had a poor game yet we persist with Williams over him. FFS can't we have some consistentcy in our KPP spots. Although happy Fletch is playing but what warrants tutt a game over clay smith. Geez hope this side pays off.
Bonts needs some more games in the 2's for mine.

Stevens I can understand, Talia played poorly, Bontempelli should get a full game at Williamstown.

Can't understand Gia, him and Dickson won't gel together, ever, in the forward line. Defenders just run off them too easily.

Glad to see Fletcher Roberts with his first game back since 2012, and his third game of AFL. High hopes for him!

Tutt also back in the team, good sign.

Melbourne don't really have the skill and pace in the back half to capatilise although Garland is back this week, makes the game harder for us now.

Weird changes. Glad Fletch is in though.

Bit concerned with the dropping of Talia. Melbourne have named Watts Frawley Pederson and Dawes all in the forward line, Meaning Williams Roberts Morris and Wood will have to take them. Having Talia would have allowed us to play Williams forward with the option of swinging back if needed now our only option is to swing Stringer back to play above his height, Also means Jones second ruck which means we are during that time we have no true KPP forward at that time. The playing one tall short each week continues and continues to annoy me

Viney got off, He will play!
And less people would have thrown their arms up in protest if he had only gotten a week, why couldn't the tribunal do that?

Don't like the bench at all. Looking at the prospective sub: Tutt - hasn't had any impact before, ditto Hunter, Johannisen out of form and Roberts not suitable. Also, last time Gia played a full game he had a poor game and was buggered early on.

I don't mind the changes too much. Stevens looked spent after a half of football last week. Needs a break.
Would have been nice to have Smith in for Stevens, but I understand why they may be cautious with him. My guess he'll play after the bye.

Tutt is a decent in. Will probably play as the sub anyways and it will be nice to see how Roberts goes.

Sub doesn't always come from the bench, Gia has been named on field in all of his sub games this year.

Really dislike the changes, bit harsh on Talia as he needs an extended run in the 1's playing against AFL forwards and learning each week. Happy for Fletch to get a run but personally not a fan this week.

But wow does our VFL team look impressive this week.

On ball we have Campbell, Smith, Stevens, Wallis, with Goodes, Prismall, Lower, Jong, Hrovat, Bontempelli for support.

Much prefer Williams as a backman, and looking at the named side, there'll be little scope for him to move up forward. Clutch game for him actually, because his form has been pretty bad.

All things being equal, Dawes is of a standard of player that Williams ought to able to hold down. If he can't do that, I see no place for him in the team at all.

Hope Roberts can step up too. :)
