Match is being recorded but for what reason I don’t know. The quality will be pushing Div 3 thirds and under 12 style chasing the footy wherever it goes.

Now is absolutely the time to be conservative with Wardlaw. Giving him another run and risking another injury - one that could impact his ability to complete a full pre-season next year - in this dead rubber horror season, instead of just giving him a break and making sure he's ready to attack 2024 with everything he's got, would be foolish. I know we all want to see him again ASAP but they have to think about his long term wellbeing here.

Anyone but coleman jones, how you can call scott out and advocate promotion of that cat is puzzling, you would literally get more sevice having the runner carry a 2m step ladder out and placing it randomly in the fwd line. Not seeing him constantly falconing the footy has been one of the rare positives of the last few weeks

Bit of daydreaming and reality there.
McDonald and Ziebell and Xerri will not be dropped.
On the other hand Dawson is on the outer and Greenwood seems stuck at VFL level. Bergman may return, not sure where he’s at.

The injured boys are a stretch and I want Shiels to tag Merrett as he did a great job last time. Definitely want to win this game and Wardlaw destroyed * last time so that’s wishful thinking if he’s rushed back in. It isn’t worth risking his hammy if its no good.

Stephensons last 4-6 weeks has been shithouse so he’s being gifted games now. Injury list saving him.

Idealy likly decent ins however the apitite to rush wardlaw back would be low and playing greenwood would void him for vfl finals.

Parish does turn it over a lot, but he also sits 14th in the league for score involvements (8th for midfielders). Need to cut his uncontested possessions out.
