Miguel Sanchez
(Unique injury) TBC
Reckon Dick will be named on the extended bench this afternoon, possibly Rosa as well. Keep the Roos guessing.

Without a quarter of our side.I might add you beat us fair and square earlier in the year as well. you just also got some bullsh!t free kicks.
Not defending the duckgate, don't give a fat rat's clacker about it to be honest, but some people have weird ways of looking at things, because personally, I would much rather see guys sliding in with their knees/legs to harm other players, than ducking. Yes, your sarcasm meter should have been reading extraordinarily high.I started that thread and was referring to the three players in your team that have ducked to gain a free kick. Darling, shuey and hams. These incidents have contributed to your excessive (by all measurable standards) free kick count. So much so that it is common knowledge within afl circles and you (west coast supporters) seem to be the only ones that argue this fact.
Not to worry, I have a feeling it will be a much closer free kick count on Sunday compared to the average eagles game at subi.
If you can find photographic evidence of players throwing their heads back from no or little contact, or quotes from senior AFL coaches that tactics we employ contribute to abnormally high free kick counts, or statistical evidence that we do infact receive abnormally high free kick numbers then sure, go ahead.

I remember the Norf board going off before the game saying things like "this is our chance! We're finally going to smash the duckers!!" due to our late changes before the bounce. After we sat them back down I got carded for liking a rant post on their board. Their board reacts like a three year old.
Harvey, Simpson and Grant were absolute beauties a few years back, Thomas is a current actor, has toned it down recently, as have we. There is no proof we throw our head back from no contact, and anyway throwing your head back is a a way of avoiding head high contact not causing it. They have never said the free kicks weren't there however, and a few have said we need to improve our tackling technique to combat it. Also they are trying to make the umpires think about it and not give as many frees and it has worked. If you can find photographic evidence of players throwing their heads back from no or little contact, or quotes from senior AFL coaches that tactics we employ contribute to abnormally high free kick counts, or statistical evidence that we do infact receive abnormally high free kick numbers then sure, go ahead.
A few of their posters have thrown the idea around of bringing in Daw to surprise us.
I can't think of anything better tbh.
Yeah but they have no idea.

I obviously liked it when you could like posts...You could like posts back then? I don't think so.
It was within the first third of the season, and im pretty sure it was before we played to in Perth. Dermie on league teams showed a freeze frame of Hams throwing his head back before any contact was made in a tackle (the tackle went on to catch him farily above the shoulder).
I think, aside from the couple of isolated incidents of playing for a free, numerous members of your team are good at the Joel Selwood shrug, that causes a fair tackle to go high. Its within the rules and gets you lots of frees, especially at home.
North gave away much less in Hobart compared to our first game, so i would be very disappointed if tackle technique, coupled with standard finals umpiring didn't result in this being a non factor on Sunday.
So after the "like" feature came into this site in early June, you were still mad enough from our game a month ago, that you went on our board, searched through a month of topics just to like a few post to troll? And then you were carded for it? lmaoI obviously liked it when you could like posts...
I went back and liked posts, that's why I got carded...
You mean Brent Stanton like? Did he show all players that do it? Didn't think so. Did he show Thomas flopping around like he had been shot with a gentle nudge to the inner thigh? As I posted to you earlier, you'd rather a guy slide in with his legs and do damage to other players? Fair enough then. End topic, now move along, there's a good chap.It was within the first third of the season, and im pretty sure it was before we played to in Perth. When are the changes announced?
mcginnity is a love child so probably won't get dropped.
I would go as follows.
In : Lynch, Mckenzie, Dick
Out: Brown, Strijk, Mcginnity
Lynch and Mckenzie should be walk up starts, Dick is a smokie. Brown and Strijk are obvious outs, mcginnity is a love child so probably won't get dropped.
Oh stop being logical and pragmatic, there's no room for that on this board. The fact that he played particularly well against Hawthorn (and has put together a few good games in a row) might help a little too.
I would have thought it would be standard reaction to throw your head back when you see a tackle coming high. If you don't you are likely to cop a forearm to the teeth. Why not get them out of the way and let the shoulder/neck take the blow.It was within the first third of the season, and im pretty sure it was before we played to in Perth.
