If we make 3 changes, say the ins are Mackenzie, Lynch, Dick/Rosa, who would be the third out?
Strijk and Brown you would assume would make way, it probably would be between McGinnity and Brennan, who didn't play poorly at all. Interesting and tough decisions have to be made though. Having said all this, we'll probably go conservative and make 1-2 changes.

Your Board has got threads titled "Gameplan v the Duckers" and routinely refers to us as Duckers and then gets very precious when folk like me suggest that this wasnt the North of old. That Glenn Archer or Carey (as examples) whining in press conferences about ruck tactics or about high tackles etc would have been frowned on as against the North shinboner spirit.
In fact Crocker was the one North coach who came out and said that all the high free kicks were there and that they were mainly a product of your younger players poor tackling technique.
The reality is that you guys lose and you deflect. You were shit the last 2 weeks because, apparently having achieved the goal of scraping into the 8 you have relaxed. You lost to us because of free kicks, twice .... You are broke because of mean fixturing...

Hoping for Rosa to come back next week (if we win obviously). Our midfield plays so much better with him in it. Do you think Dick could of filled the void left by Rosa? Think him as a sub wouldn't be too bad...

Well whoever updates the AFL site hasn't bothered to post the teams for this round, so trusty facebook updated me. Surprised to only see one out, probaly means Mackenzie will jump in for Brown, and the rest will stay the same.

Our BF board is full of myopic posters, but it is a systemic problem caused by being a small fish in a big pond, a small fish that is kicked constantly within and outside the football world so the North supporters are often defensive.
I don't generally post tripe like that. I don't define my standard by whatever lowest common denominator I find within others. I regret making my post too generic because there are a lot of very good Eagles posters on BF that I like and respect, sadly, you aren't one of them and it is probably an oversight that you are not on my ignore list. There was just a lot of supporters who made similar comments but still, I shouldn't generalise.
However, I don't feel the need to make dumb or insulting posts just because others find new lows to sink to, If you feel the need to make dumb posts just because other morons do then it just reflects poorly on yourself.
Brad said that first, but it was a comment that was largely ignored. He was more angry that our players failed to take the precaution to tackle the players who like to duck into tackles lower as instructed to avoid giving away the free kicks. Some of your supporters were outraged he even suggested that some players duck the head more than the average player.
There is always a reason for why you lose, same as there is always a reason why you win. I would have that that was an obvious. It doesn't mean the opposition doesn't play a great game. But when a coach is in the post match he is asked a number of question about happened and what went wrong. Let me reiterate that Brad never said we lost because of ducking, this was a bow drawn by your supporters and some of our dimwitted supporters.
We do a lot of things that are proactive, many good things that all clubs enjoy have been developments initiated by my club. We have a small supporter base, that will always put financial pressure on us, especially during periods we are not well run off-field. I think our 'complaining' has seen a lot of good initiatives introduced in the AFL, sometimes you have to complain a lot in the public if you are generally ignored. It shouldn't come to that but there are elements of the game which are out of our control which have a big impact on our club. I see it less as complaining and more as educating the people that think nothing is wrong and nothing needs to be fixed. If nothing was wrong, we wouldn't have seen the AFL make significant changes last year.
I have many faults, a lack of awareness is not one of them.
I am generally welcome on most opposition boards because I like to chat about footy and like to talk about the teams leading up to playing eachother, but it is difficult to have any kind of meaningful engagement when you have to wade through insults non-stop. Don't point to our forum, I know it is problematic and I have tried to raise it with the mods but they are unwilling to do anything about it. I can't control what they do or how they act, I am only in control of myself.
If you prefer to just have your own supporters only in your forum then I will respect that and leave you guys be.

Brisbane away was just a shit game, against Freo we were down on form somewhat and Freo were up and about ready for a derby.
At the moment we're in some decent form.
Brown is right to feel unlucky. Strijk didnt do much but it wasa tough game for forwards. If he doesnt play Hamms looks the likely replacement asa forward with some run through the mid field. Given they are a rebound team Lunch may look too slow to the MC - but he has other atributes and enables our ruck weapons to rest or go forward more. - interesting to see what they decide on to counter north.

Lynch is in the 25 due to the Kennedy injury cloud. Dick's elevation was just insurance for any injuries to our mid/small fwds. He will only play if we have no other option.
Whatever happens, I think Lynch will be gone at the end of the year.
