Agree with the Sarge coming back in, as I reckon this is a pivotal time for him.

See if he can play well for the rest of the year, either as a forward (his best spot IMO) or even down back, where his size could be an asset and where he could take pressure of McGuane and Thursfield.

Why they are playing him at Coburg is debatable. Is it to give reiwoldt / Hughes a go? Is it simply for poor form? Has it got something to do with being eligible for VFL finals? Have the bosses already made the decision to trade him?

Sure, play the youngsters, but if it appears they still have significant development to undergo (and Hughes seems to fit that description), then play a more developed guy like Schulz, who still needs to prove himself.

Was interesting to hear Buckley on SEN afew weeks ago saying that Johnson was definitely carrying an injury. This was well after his broken hand. If that's the case he should sit out the rest of the year. Get operated on or what-ever is required to fix his problems. He's doing nothing anyway. And as has been said in other posts, Johnson can come back next year in his tagging role or play off the HBF.

Give the middle to Raines/Deledio/Newman or a different 2nd/3rd year guy. Support will come from Tuck and Foley (I don't know how this guy does what he does every week, but thank god he does).

I failed to say that in my comments, but he has played a couple of poor games, and when he plays a run with role and his opponent gets more disposals than him then you can't have played reasonably well.
