Going to be a ripper of a game and a close contest.

Who will Moore play on, Buddy or Sam Reid?.

Be nice if we had another mobile key back to play on whoever Moore doesn't take.
I thought Murphy did quite well on Buddy in the limited time on him. I really do not like the idea of Howe on him

What about tennis?
Playing on complete different surfaces in Grand Slam events…grass, clay & synthetic.
Complete different game styles required…some players suited to a particular surface.
Not to mention croquet. The varied conditions facing players in the last few MacRobertson Internationals have been appalling!

I wasn't too concerned about Buddy at the start of the week. Thought Moore might be able to exploit him. But as this conceivably could be Buddy's last game at the SCG in front of a home crowd, if there is one player who can rise for a big occasion...

I googled Sam Edmund's latest comments on Ollie H but all i could find was this. Probably an old interview with Sam Edmund, but he thinks Ollie will stay at Collingwood (6' 56"), although questions whether he will get much of a go with McStay coming in.

EDIT: Ooops! wrong thread. I'll fix.

Might appear that way to a bloke who thinks the Deliverance pig squeal scene was high comedy.
That's because you remind me of Ned Beatty

Yeah, he is still fully capable of getting of the chain. Still nightmares from 15 years of him being unstoppable against us

can see lots of lovely little frees heading Buddys way, especially if he pulls those stunts he did against the Dees.

Maybe, but we don't have any knuckleheads who will get sucked in like May who will be on Buddy. Maynard seems more under control these days

My partner (a mad Pies fan) is heading up to Sydney for the game this week. Any recommendations on pubs or bars that will be filled by Pies supporters before the game?

Would be happy to go in with the same 22. However if we were making a change I would bring in Krueger for Bianco. Keep Carmichael the sub.

B - Quaynor Moore Murphy
HB - N.Daicos Howe Maynard
C - J.Daicos DeGoey Sidebottom
HF - Elliott Cameron McCreery
F - Ginnivan Mihochek Johnson
R - Cox Crisp Pendlebury
INT - Lipinski Noble WHE Bianco/Krueger

This side can get it done.

I think we go with the same 22 but i'd be bringing in Freddy as the extra tall. I think we can push Hoskin on to a wing and Freddy gives us an extra option up forward. He can make the McCartin lads very nervous every time they go near it.

Further to my previous post, this is the same info without the two COVID years, which could be considered anomalies. Still indicates a Collingwood V Brisbane would be just as likely as Geelong V Sydney GF.

Most probable is one of Brisbane or Collingwood get through.

Do you plan on sticking around? You were THIS close to talking about the maths of probability, so have a like as some encouragement 💪🏻

I think it would be fine if they played a full home and away schedule. This way it’s just weird and creates unfairness. Particularly since the grand final is always at the G
Dump all the expansion teams to 12 team comp and have a 24 round draw.
Even then comes finals you have inequity unless you ignore profits and play at the winners home ground.
