I'd take out Bianco for C Brown. Still convinced we need another harder player...and Brown is the best of what we have left.
I would rather Kreuger than Cal if we want some physicality. But I would probably rather Henry or Carmichael than Kreuger.

I think more than hardness we need to combat the McCartin duo

We won and won easily expect for the scoreboard. But WHE… I just don’t know what he offers. Bianco was poor, not sold on him playing a prelim,

Finals is all about taking chances. I’d rather Henry play cause he does that
WHE runs his absolute ass off, hardest defensive runner we have and is still dangerous around goal, no way does he get dropped, Henry goes when it suits him and is poor defensively, you don’t drop your hardest worker and replace him with your weakest.

I didn’t notice Bianco - for good or bad - so think he’ll go out for someone with more X-factor.

Noble had a bad game but has heaps of runs on the board and is safe.

McCreery had another poor game. His impact has really dropped off. I think it’s time to swap him out.

OUT Bianco, McCreery
IN Carmichael, Krueger

No way WHE gets dropped. He remains our best two way runner and an important link between defence and attack. Effectively plays as a third winger. He gets picked every week for a reason. None of the contenders comes remotely near his running power. Suggesting Henry replaces WHE is laughable. Hoskin-Elliott had 5 marks and 3 shots at goal, which is excellent in his role.

I didn’t mind McCreery’s game.

With AJ's timing so far off the mark tonight and Checkers seemingly playing on one leg, I'd be inclined to bring in Ollie for Bianco.

No change.

Understand WHE may frustrate some, but he is not going anywhere. He plays an incredibly unselfish and important role running all day up and down as that link man, creating space out the back. Thought he was ok tonight and uncharacteristically missed a couple of easy attempts.

Unpopular opinion, but I think Johnson’s spot would be the one under pressure with his performance today. I couldn’t be a bigger fan of his talents, but incredibly selfish tonight and too lackadaisical (I know that is his style) for a big final like that.

Bianco played as well as one could expect. Solid game tonight, one you are happy to get out of the 22nd guy picked. He will keep his spot. Tempting to pick Carmichael given the big bodies of Sydney, however I have more faith in Bianco playing his role well.

Undecided on Carmichael VS Krueger as the sub. Would lean towards Krueger personally.

You’re probably right and I doubt they’ll want to change a winning team unnecessarily.

It might just be Bianco out for Carmichael/Krueger. I doubt Henry will be seriously considered.

He tackles hard and applies pressure, can break lines too, I don’t think he’s suited to the forward line though, next year I’d love to see him across HB.

Can't agree about perpetual whipping-boy WHE. I thought he was solid all night. Flashed in and out of the game as usual, but that happens when you play HFF.

I liked what he did in a passage of play on the wing in the 3rd? quarter. Involved in a chain of handpasses and received a crap handball around his bootlaces, but managed to get a boot on it and kick it forward.

Will gets a raw deal in these parts I reckon.

A crispy 200th next week. 187 games in a row. As if we didn’t need extra incentive to get the job done. Swans having a bye so they’ll be stiff in the legs. Buddy is old and tired. We won’t have the flu, and we have had a practice run in round 22. Even if we had have won that game, we would have been the same place, with a PF to win.

I’d love to see Krueger come in, but I’ll leave it up to Fly and the coaches to sort it out.

Feeling pretty relaxed about this. No angst about recognition or not being favourites. Hopefully we re-watch the tape from 2018 against the tigers, and know that anything is possible.

Up the woods!

Fly did mention in his presser that we can’t score over 80 points atm and we are working on improving that, so I’d go with
Out Bianco
In Henry
Sub Carmichael

Lol checkers dropped.

Under normal circumstances I agree but he's lame - was looking to handball at every opportunity to avoid kicking the ball. He did mark and get across the ground alright but it's a consideration whether someone like Henry/Kreuger would offer more.

Bianco had a couple good moments. But he's just not good enough at AFL level.

I'm very liberal with giving players time etc. I've seen enough of Bianco: I genuinely can't see him making it. Not sure where the improvement can come, he's too slow & too small (in frame, even if he puts on size it won't help much.)

His whole thing was apparently his elite kick and at AFL level we've seen over and over that it doesn't translate under pressure. I'm confident hanging my hat on Bianco never making the 22 consistently.

Last time I ordered, the steak was tough and the salad had no dressing. So next time I'm going to order some chips to go with the steak and salad.
