I think we get beaten if we don't play better than we did on Sunday.
Adelaide are a great side which play very similar to us. I can't understand people thinking we played poorly. It was an entertaining high intensity, high pressure game which had a real finals feel about it. And both sides coming off the bye. No team has won after their bye, except for us & Saints who both played teams also coming off a bye.

Anyone that's been to this stadium... is there parking or would you be better off catching a taxi/uber/whatever?
I took an uber/taxi on the way there and the shuttle back to broadbeach last time I was there.
There is parking but you may have to book? I'm not sure.

Adelaide is a much better team then the Suns, despite the Suns beating Adelaide in the NT, and the second half Adelaide would just about beat everyone else in the competition when they play like that.
We do however need our mids up and running against the Suns, as they are a dominant clearance team.

Maybe a chance to give Macrae a go and either give Pendles a rest or make him sub in case we really need him.

I wouldn't park there personally... Been a few times and always got a taxi or uber. Mind you, it depends where you are staying as well..

I'm thinking the uber or taxi option might be the best bet. My only concern with those types of things is trying to leave at the same time as everyone else although the stadium does only hold 22,500!

I think this is an extreme danger game and would prefer we don’t rest anyone.

Why do you want to rest anyone one week after the bye? If at all they need more game time to be ready for the latter part of the season

Wonder if Frampton might make the side this week. Three tall forwards who will challenge our medium defenders.

I think he needs games. Firstly, if we're not sure he and Moore work together, we need to find out. Secondly, if we've decided they don't we need him to get games in defence under his belt in case Moore goes down. It's one of the losses that could kill our season.

I'm not saying he needs to come in for Murphy, but if he's up to the level, he adds a lot to our side. Can take a second tall in defence, can backup Moore/ruck/forward if any go down in a game. Late in a game can even allow us to throw Moore forward - which we've done at times, tho with the risk of no tall defender. Murphy's been great, but we have enough medium defenders and are short one tall.

If we don't consider Frampton good enough to be in our 22, then we should be looking for a tall defender who is.

Expecting this game to be a really close one. We need to bring our A-game.

Gold Coast are a really good clearance and contested possession side (I think they're top 3 in both categories).

If they match us in winning ground balls and get the ball to the outside, they could expose us going inside 50 with their talls.

you would think we’d take a cautious approach with Maynard’s shoulder. I wasn’t confident after hearing what he said and expected him to miss. No point risking his season for 1 game.
Hine said a few of weeks ago that Fly is really keen to get a couple of games into guys like Ryan, Allan Harrison - as he thinks it sets them up for the following preseason. Harrison -tick. Now seems a good time for Ryan.
