really want to see how Dumont goes at AFL level. Honestly don't care who goes out for him but give the kid a FULL game at the top level, his VFL performances have warranted it. We could have a gem on our hands.

It really doesn't take much to get a game these days does it?

Ben Brown 2-3 games in his 1st AFL year, Taz 1/2 game plus a few meetings and they're dislodging Majak by virtue of 'selection by media'.

Was happy Maj went back and killed it, now the same treatment should be applied to Adams, Basti, Ziebs, Tarrant and Mullet. Worked for Gibson, Cunnington, Greenwood, Spud, LT, even Swallow spent extended time in the twos. These are our better players this year.

i have been getting quite annoyed with brad scott for a fair while now his coaching does my head in as does his work at team selection, I'm sick of us playing so inconsistent and under performing. as suggested earlier in this thread time to make a statement and drop players who aren't playing up to standard, make people earn and value their spots in the team ;bastinac, mullet, anthony, adams, tarrant etc. (would have black there but due to tarrant going he stays) we need to reward the boys with good vfl form. unlucky to jacobs and wood if they are injured, dumont has to get a gig soon, mckenzie should be playing, why not give Hine a go as a lockdown defender?

anyone been watching Harper lately? how has his form been?
also how much longer is garner out for?

I can handle losing, I can handle guys having off nights, it is the lack of effort to do the hard chasing, the tackling and relentless pressure when everything else is not working for you that to me is unacceptable.

We have some chronic issues where too many guys are too happy to roll over without much of a fight and the coach and match selection committee have failed to address that and it is not something you can change at the drop of a hat, it has to be a major emphasis to address your commitment and work ethic.

Theres been a pretty major emphasis on backing the players in for the next week over a number of years now.

It's still not working.

Not particularly fussed either way, and Brown doesn't fill me with much confidence either, but wasn't there a report Friday that Taz was a bit sore? .

Exactly, Drew should get the hell out of the way, especially if the result is him lining up 30 meters out directly in front.

I see in the Age that the Dees have taken over our crown from last week of the team conceding fewest scores from inside 50s this season. Grrrr. Of course they have won fewer games than North have, and lots of teams have, but our boys will need to be smart going forward this week.

Bon wont make personal changes but he doesn't even shift guys into different positions.
One of mullet/Lmac should play Basti's role and Basti should play Adams role.

Play ziebs outside the packs and use his footskills

How about being impressive in match games.... That may be a better way to judge if a player should play in the seniors or not...

That draft was incredibly average after pick 30. Lachie Hunter is the only player selected after him that is worth the pick we took Jacobs with.

I still think there's a lot to work with, hopefully he's getting the kind of development Spitter got during his lengthy spell in the VFL.

I agree I think he can be a big part of our team but doesn't seem to get a real go when he deserves it.
