It's possible. Let's just hope it's rubbish.
Pyke hasn't played selection games all year
He genuinely picks players at team selection who are fit to play, we rarely make any late changes

I'm fairly sure it's weeks, but have a vague memory of Alastair Lynch getting a large fine (and weeks) after his punch on in the 2004 GFIt's weeks or a fine isn't it, never both?
Is he starting the lap at half time?3/4 time
True that. Hopefully we get the luxury to use him as a swingman, that means we are winning, but I am not a fan of the selection, as are quite a few of us.Agree.
Just as well Cats have gone even taller, otherwise I would be more worried about our selection.
Conversely our guys are collectively poor marks, we could've got the ball to ground level and won it with faster smalls.I would have preferred to bring in a Hampton or Menzel for Gov however I'll back Pykey in
Looking at Geelong's backline they are quite tall so maybe this structure might work, Bews will go to Betts, Knight the defensive job on the ZT and apart from that they don't have to much pace coming out of defence
They are more of an intercept marking team so we will need Otten to compete in the air
Great point, though we need to win this week first.Terrible selection. The only thing Otten has in common with McGovern as a forward is that he's tall. If we do win god help us if McGovern doesn't come up for next week. Richmond or GWS will run all over us. Such a typical safe Crows decision
Honestly this selection will have zero impact on the outcome.True that. Hopefully we get the luxury to use him as a swingman, that means we are winning, but I am not a fan of the selection, as are quite a few of us.
That can also provide pressure the other way.....Conversely our guys are collectively poor marks, we could've got the ball to ground level and won it with faster smalls.
No, but he will if he wins a Granny.Pyke has earnt the right to be backed in by the supporter base.
Would be more worried if he was coming in as a defender. Is a better forward these days . Can take nice grabsI think Otto will have a pretty solid game. He generally plays well first game up.
They don't want to change the structure and it is our structure and method that is our strength. There won't be any changes implemented by Pykey that he dreamed about at 3am in the morning.
Although like Blighty his ethos is very much about scoring. And Otto can kick goals.

I can see them killing us at ground level and on the rebound.
Otten, not good at all. Really unfortunate our worst team for the year is in the prelim. Hope we win. Just start the game already, the "will dangerfield play forward" shit is becoming mind numbing.
Can I have McGovern's spot then?Honestly this selection will have zero impact on the outcome.
Please this is not our worse team of the year
Massive over reaction
Im sorry, but getting to a home prelim isn't easy either. Job not done yet, but he has plenty of credits in the bank. No, but he will if he wins a Granny.
