Himmelberg ?? Nah he's had 1 decent gameWorrell is first in line followed by Himmelberg on Sanfl form. Then Hateley and DMac.
apart from a few of the tops ups that is.
What qualifies as decent. He was our best last week. Was passable the week before. Agree he was poor prior to that. So that puts him a game or two ahead of most others.Himmelberg ?? Nah he's had 1 decent game
I'm not sure about Twitter but Facebook is boomer central. It's like staring into an abyss.Always thought the Apricot slice types were the people over 60,
And I thought most of the Facebook/twitter crowd are the younger types,
I respect him for what he's done, but his selection views are poor.
One of the few things that I agree with the Trolls is that there is one measure of success, PREMIERSHIPS.
If you are unlikely to compete for a top four (preferably top two) spot then you have to improve your squad and this is likely to result in a decline in performance. At the end of 2019 we started down the total rebuild path and there will be plenty more pain before we are back competing for the flag.
Geelong and Hawthorn have opted for a top up strategy assisted by a seemingly bottomless salary cap. I expect the Hawks to win tomorrow with the experience of Frost, Hartigan, Burgoyne, Wingard, McEvoy etc. I believe that we will get more out of the match.
Why would genuine crow supporters spend all their time posting about David Mackay playing one game rather than the development of Butts, Hamill, Scholl, McPherson, Schoenberg, McHenry, Berry, Rowe, McAdam, Hately, Thilthorpe, Worrell etc?
Daniel Jackson and Matty Wright were our best last week...What qualifies as decent. He was our best last week. Was passable the week before. Agree he was poor prior to that. So that puts him a game or two ahead of most others.
Thilthorpe for Frampton is a nice surprise. Hartigan/Frost should be an easy matchup for him
If EH can't get a game after playing as well as he did last week, he's probably done. Might even request a trade at season's end
I don't do Twitter. Outrage? From Crows fans? Do they say why eg underdone/ not ready/ poor Himmelberg etc??it's amazing the outrage the selection of RT has caused.
I don't bother with Twitter... there is enough outrage on this board at times.... but don't think I have seen anyone complain about picking Tilthorpe this week.I don't do Twitter. Outrage? From Crows fans? Do they say why eg underdone/ not ready/ poor Himmelberg etc??
Ruthless bunch, you are. Mark Bickley, has done more for SA footy — and our club — than most. And, in this case, he’s right to a degree about Thilly. If Thilly was pick 40 in the draft, we would all agree that his selection is odd, and flies in the face of picking players on form. Having said that, I’m bloody pumped that he’s been selected.
Could be worse. Could be choc full of millennials.Twitter maybe, but Facebook comment sections are chock full of boomers.
You seem to still like it here regardless.Could be worse. Could be choc full of millennials.
Its the boomers keep bringing me back. You seem to still like it here regardless.
I want Worrell to debut. Problem is who he’s replacing. Kelly or Seed are doing their stuff in a losing side.Worrell is first in line followed by Himmelberg on Sanfl form. Then Hateley and DMac.
apart from a few of the tops ups that is.
From who?If you read twitter, it's amazing the outrage the selection of RT has caused.
Like genuine outrage.
If he keeps up his mostly average form to begin the season, McPherson might be the one to make way. Give him some time to find some form in the reserves, should be better off for it in the long runI want Worrell to debut. Problem is who he’s replacing. Well, possibly. He has high twenties out games when he’s free then quieter times when he is checking. I’m goin more like for like.If he keeps up his mostly average form to begin the season, McPherson might be the one to make way. That said, he has some points on the board to stay in the side for a bit longer
We've had this conversation so I'm not going to go over it again, but I still see no way that Seed comes out any time soon in his current formWell, possibly. He has high twenties out games when he’s free then quieter times when he is checking. I’m goin more like for like.
Ultimately I’m pushing out Seed. Long sleeve in Tasmania and little influence should see it happen
I remember the conversation. Then replace Kelly should happen. We've had this conversation so I'm not going to go over it again, but I still see no way that Seed comes out any time soon in his current form
McPherson for Worrell means we can still get games into the same amount of youth without compromising 1) experience to protect our youth, and 2) structure (Worrell to 2nd KPD, Doedee to 3rd tall, Kelly to McPherson's role)
Kelly out is probably inevitable, but he's also doing enough to stay in right now. Played decent last weekI remember the conversation. Then replace Kelly should happen.
It’s hard to get Worrell into the team when the people he’d replace are playing for their lives.
I only see two ways. Seed or Kelly.Kelly out is probably inevitable, but he's also doing enough to stay in right now. Played decent last week
The reality is, there's a few ways to get Worrell some games. Who knows which way we'll go though
Thought Jones went to TasFrampton, Murray, McKay and Jones all playing at Elizabeth today
