Wagner just played his first game in sometime. We made that mistake with NOD who needs more time in WAFL. He didn’t get on the plane that I’m aware of. Someone said that there was a picture of Brodie getting on plane with a big smile. I’d expect likes of Sturt/Corbett/Treacy to be in the mix to replace Tabs who is injured.

Agreed. I love Driz and he will occupy the wing for us for 10+ years but he's clearly underdone and needs time to build his fitness/touch as he's only 3 years into the AFL system.

Small forward from Adelaide. Missed footy because of cancer treatment but had a good return year in the sanfl

Would have thought we could get him into the team, even for development. 18 possies and 2 goals is a good platform and he seemed to have an enjoyment of contest.

All of those players were young-ish at the time and theoretically had a lot of footy ahead of them, I.e recruiting them wasn't inconsistent with a rebuild.

Definitely youngish, but they came with question marks attached, and we weren’t able to overcome them.

I’d do the Hogan trade again, I think the covid year did him no favours and had Lyon still been around he may have corrected course. We’ll never know, sadly.

the bloke is surrounded by the wrong people and will not go anywhere in life if he continues the way he has. Reports are he is a nice guy. He hasn't been able to hold down a job and would not have any skills to offer. I hope he paid off his home at the very least.

He was on all sorts in 2016, when he should of been at least training.

That said I’ve heard so many stories about footy players who’ve produced on field that I tend to ignore them. Unless a player is shooting heroin on game day I think a good coach and culture can overcome
