Bad list management.

Acres and Logue should of obviously been kept. That is on arrogant Bell.
Even Tucker as a big body would be nice right now.

Banking on Tabs and Fyfe as experienced players was also risky given injury history, as now demonstrated

Supporting Freo reminds of the introduction of Bluebeard in Fate:Zero.

Sorry, you lost me. I don't know anything about Pokemon.

How many 19 year olds get a tag at AFL level apart from that freak of nature Daicos
Daicos doesn't get tagged.Neither did Judd.
But it is harder to get a kick at AFL level than WAFL.He struggled two weeks agao againstt he worst team in the WAFL.
Maybe just maybe, needs to work harder.Maybe that is why he hasn't earned a guernsey.

last week he had 14 contested possessions among 27 touches with 10 clearances, eight tackles and five score involvements in the loss to South Fremantle.
Welll. there ya go. Maybe he was told to pick up his work load. Maybe, just maybe, that is why he has earned a guernsey this week.
It is all about performance. He performed last week. The previous week he didn't .
As the Meerkat says Simples.

Nice to see NOD back.

We should be looking at Erasmus and Worner pretty soon, and I'd love to see Seb get a crack.

Absolutely no reason not to see if these guys are AFL quality. Season's shot - may as well get something out of it.

Geelong hold the record for the oldest ever team, wonder what the record is for the youngest?

The even less palatable explanation is they're not willing to play him because they don't think he's any good.

And if it turns out he's no good when there were players like JVR still in the table, that's not going to be a pleasant timeline to exist in.

No one can blame Ross or Rosich for this one... or others. It is interesting to me that people think Bell had nothing to do with the Hogan decision when he went aggressively at Jackson.

JVR looks like a huge miss given he is from WA, a great size, an mark and kick and in a position of great need. We are currently all in on Amiss.

A developing forward core of Amiss, JVR, Freddy plus hope for Treacy and Sturt would look ok.

Neesham would get more out of this list!!! We would be undefeated if he was coaching tbh.
The list is overrated, let’s be honest. Grade it as B- this season.

Sure a few young guns here and there, but some players are just average this season.
The forward line list management is inept. Banfield at HF again.

His wafl coach just said in a West article that he is going to be a beauty. The article isn't behind the paywall so go and have a read before you go write the kid off in year 2.

His work rate isn’t an issue.
He won’t be getting the tag in AFL with Serong, Brayshaw and Brodie.

He wouldn't be tagged at AFL level if he was getting 45 touches a week, similar to early Sam Walsh who had a reputation for burning the footy. Johnson would be getting tagged leaving Erasmus and Serong to get bulk touches close to the contest and Brayshaw to run his ring off outsde.

Remembering of course that Erasmus was a handful of days off being too young for that draft.
Club may just be protecting him a little, from himself as much as anything.
Didn’t he put himself in hospital after training too hard?

lol even Lachie Neale knows the problem is our coach

We're officially the youngest and least experienced team this round:

So basically it would be one of our greatest ever upset wins. I'm firmly in "rebuild" mindset for this one - hope the damage on the scoreboard isn't too egregious and just try and enjoy the development of Amiss/Johnson/Sturt/LJ/NOD etc. Minimal melting this week I promise.

If only we could be competitive. It's those listless performances that do my head in.
Yeah this. I was idly wondering today what would be a fair guess of how many goals Brisbane will put up by Q time.
I'm expecting something like 6-7 with us on 2 or 3 behinds.
Last week the Bullies would have put up 6 goals in the first 5 minutes if they'd kicked straight.

It's the first time I'm sitting down to watch with zero expectations of winning but to hopefully see some signs that we are playing with intent and taking some chances moving the ball out of the back half.

Just show us something, anything to suggest they are actually trying.

Good luck Walker.

Even if he keeps the most in form, dangerous small forward in the game relatively quiet there’s still going to be people putting him first in their outs in the changes thread because he’s gotten caught HTB a couple of times taking the game on.

Reading in this article that Chapman has a serious hamstring issue is discouraging. Was really hoping to see him playing up the ground a bit.

Still a bit puzzled with Wilson in the 2’s when he’s never even been tried on a wing. Same with Clark & Young to some extent. Aish, Hughes could easily go back & get some of our better ball users up the ground a bit.

Hugh's over Wilson is a crime
