Can't believe people are calling for a 21 year old who in his 6th and 7th games in his career got 16 and 17 touches respectively, from slightly limited gametime and is pretty clean with the ball.

Those who deserve a spot in the side that are currently out are; Adams, Lower and Hamish. Based on VFL performances, O'Keefe and Jones would have to be right up there as well.

Make room for the first three IMO, then start worrying about blokes that havn't screamed "pick me" so far this year.

What was said? Need the info.

Could be wrong here, but that would appear to defeat the purpose of the Mods deleting the comment in the first place.

If you get an answer from nn, hopefully it'll be via PM where stuff like that belongs. :face of hint-hinting

I dont know how Lower is going but no one else is impressing me at this stage to warrant a game.
Warren probably needs another week or 2 at VFL.
Pratt just didnt show enough and Smith and Garlett arent in our best 22. Thomas ive had enough of. The 3 above must come back so theres gonna be 2 unlucky ommissions.

lulz.

with 29 touches to his name I would expect Ed Lower to come in to the team this week.

Lower for Garlett may be an option.

Pace wise I dont reckon there is much in it between these 2 and Ed provides a versatile midfield/half back option crucial against the dogs.

Could do a shutdown role on Griffen, should Greenwood get Cooney and Rawlings stays in defence.

Harbrow is a bloke we can´t afford to get 25 touches out of defence. His rebound and general creativeness has been awesome this year of HB. We need someone to give him a bit of attention as well.

IIRC Lower usually gets the job done on Gilbee, or am I completely off the mark? Maybe he will get a call up this week.
Garlett should stay in the side because Adams might miss again with the hammy? Plus, Cruize has been alright the last two weeks so he's the least of our concerns.

Hale will probabaly be the only one to miss this week because of injury, I don't know who will come in though. I'm very happy to leave turtle in the forward line this year, he is an extremely dangerous and a hard player to match up on.
I'm still not convinced with Pratt, he looks way to big and every time he gets near the ball I cringe.

Guys who really deserve a game: Lower, Adams, McIntosh, O'Keefe and Campbell

Guys who are struggling: Thomas, Wright, Hale(inj), Smith.

Selection is getting hard again with guys coming off the injury list. I doubt there will be to many changes this week after a win. So my guess is one change.

Out Hale(inj)

In McIntosh

Yeah Lower deserves a game, forgot about him. Adams can have another week to make sure he's cherry ripe for the week after, along with Flash.

In: Lower, Hale/Hamish (whoever is most 'ready', certainly not both), Jones
Out: Smith, Wright, Hale (if we bring back Hamish)

As a side note, as our squad gets back to full strength we are developing some pretty good depth. We could have Adams, Flash and Wright as emergencies, with Warren, Petrie, Urquhart to return as well as O'Keefe and Speight pushing pretty hard. Exciting times if we can stay fit.

If Hale is fit and McIntosh isn't

In: Campbell, Lower
Out: Wright, Garlett

If McIntosh is fit and Hale isn't

In: Campbell, Lower, McIntosh
Out: Wright, Garlett, Hale

If Hale and McIntosh are fit

In: McIntosh, Campbell, Lower
Out: Smith, Wright, Garlett

If neither Hale/McIntosh are fit

In: Campbell, Lower, O'Keefe
Out: Hale, Wright, Garlett

O'Keefe and Campbell should not be in the team when the form last week was not up to scratch, so why pick them?
Jones has been playing well but he is not in our plans for next year so for me its a no.
Lower was very exciting in the pre season before injury and has proved that he is ready to come back in with good form.
Garlett should be left in the team and deserves to be in.

For me I think Wright has had a fair run but needs more developing and should go back to the 2's with Lower in and Big Mac to come back in for Hale. If Big Mac is not ready then I believe Smith gets another crack. He needs to perform now before Petrie gets back in so give him another chance.

Poor old Garlett again. Do people just not like the guy?

Maybe some folk genuinely believe that there are better options available. Particularly from a structural point of view.

No crime in that, and it's not necessarily any kind of huge knock on Garlett.

Mate I hear you were bedside, how is he?

He was in and out of conciousness. It was hard to make out, but he was rambling something about how he "warned them not to play him and Smith in the same forward line" and how "he knew something like this would happen"

Zebs, he was there to recover, not to be your lover!
