There's no doubt that JPod is in great form, kicking 9 & 11 in his last two SANFL games. Even so, the odds of him coming into the senior team next week would be very close to zero. I doubt he'll even be on the emergency list.

Not a good game for Crouch - his poor kick led to the first goal for the Eagles, couple other poor kicks as well. Not sure if you drop a kid though after one poor game. Maybe sub. Dunno. He'd be the only one on the bubble. Maybe rest Thommo.

Seriously though would it hurt to get one game into him on the off chance we are hit with some injuries in the forward line? It's an important game given ladder possibilities but it could be a good move to give Pods a match.

Yes it would , we need to keep the personnel and structure chugging along , it's working and why disrupt it

Rest at end of season for 6 weeks, we have to keep the momentum flowing to make up as much ground on the other teams as we can

We are 7th not top 2.

I'd rather have Grigg in the side than Crouch right now.

Crouch kicked it out on the full twice and handed them momentum in the second with a shit kick across ground. Really had a poor game and deserved to be subbed off. He's a great contested player, but Grigg is decent enough in that respect too, and actually knows how to use the ball. Neither are any good defensively, so we wouldn't lose anything in that respect. Surely Grigg's paid penance for his trampoline thing by now.

Wouldn't be upset if we gave JPod a retirement game. Maybe give Tex a rest to freshen up.

Lyons out (been sub 2 weeks in a row and only played 2 out of the past 8 quarters og footy)

Wright/MacKay/Grigg/Kerridge in (sub)

Crouch was abysmal but if we haven't played Kedge now we probably won't. I'd give Pods one last run if we can but who for ??

Unchanged for mine.
