Too right thanks my delusions are not delusions after all but just normal expectations. Ok so now to thump those young upstart Giants.
Well selection day today. If ever the club is going to make a statement about the way forward, today is the day. I'm hoping for some tough decisions but I'm thinking there will be mind mal changes, probably young and Moore out with Mitchell and ah Chee in.
I wonder if SANFL finals will affect AFL selection. A number of players are on the cusp of eligibility. I think the likes of Nathan Krakouer, Kane Mitchell, Andrew Moore, Jake Neade, Cam O’Shea and Sam Colquhoun only need 1 or 2 more games to qualify....

Drop Andrew Moore, Jake Neade, Cam O’Shea and Sam Colquhoun. They're close to qualifying for the finals with the Magpies and apart from being best for the Magpies, they'd get more out of finals football than a few more minor round games. At least with the finals they'd be striving for something, the Power's just about certain to finish twelfth whatever happens.

I found out the other day that the teams get lodged first thing in the morning to the afl. They sit on it all day and release them all at 6 or whatever.
Reason this became clear os because the afl website left their "last edited" timestamp. They were all 8:30ish AM, and the time went up to 8:31 on the later teams as they worked through it.

Play more SANFL games than AFL and must have played at least 3 after 30th June. There's a thread in the Magpies forum.

No, it was changed. It would be nice for us fans to know about all these changes when they're actually made.

"The qualification rules for AFL-listed players were changed for 2015, with players now needing to both play the majority of their seasons in the SANFL, including three games after June 30. Previously, a player needed only to play either the majority of the season, or three of their last five games in the competition."
