I’m all for Naughton playing forward long term. But I don’t see the harm in him spending some time back to free him up a little.

I’d love to see Trengove start in the ruck and English play forward.

Out - roarke smith
In - west

Out - bailey smith
In - Mclean

Starting to backtrack on my support of Naughton up forward. It's becoming clear that he's wasted there when he doesn't get any decent supply, and our entries don't suit his style of play. I'd like to see him float between forward and defence, with Trengove Ruck/KPD and English Ruck/KPF.

Also Smith is just 1 more poor game from dropping to the VFL. Cordy is damn close too.

Wouldn't be shocked to see:

INS: McLean, Le. Young

OUTS: Smith, Cordy

Morris hopefully be ready to go next week. So out anyone for him. Probably Smith. Also Mclean sounds like he'll be back in too according to bevo.

Bringing players back in after 1 game undermines the whole point of dropping them IMO. Makes it look like we've made a mistake and doesn't put the rocket up them that you're looking for by sending them to the 2's, so Mclean stays out for me (even though I thought the dropping was a poor decision in the first place). I also don't like dropping players after a single game so Roarke stays in (even though, again, I thought his inclusion was a bad decision).

Out: Cordy (out of form and needs to hit the gym) and Duryea (no impact, won't be missed)
In: Le Young and Morris (please be available Moz we need you)

Seems that McLean wasn’t dropped as he didn’t play VFL, but may have been rested due to injury concerns.

Thought Lewis young was very solid in the vfl would love to see him come in for an extended run.

Based on yesterday’s game though which bar goal kicking accuracy we should have won and the fact port aren’t an overly big forward line I’d go in unchanged.

Possibly give bailey smith a week rest. Yes he’s recently had the bye but has looked a little flat the last two games, may just need an extra week given his limited preseason.

Have to say I agree with these changes as I reckon Bailey Smith may be a little cooked and Roarke just flinched too many times at vital stages. In saying that I've got no idea why Duryea is in the side...

Smith due for a rest. McLean is too good to be playing twos. Otherwise I don't see a need for too many changes. Well done to Lipi and Williams for earning a spot.
