In: Shuey - get some games into this kid before he decides to end his bad luck and piss off back home.

Stevens - Definite player of the future who played well for the Sharks on Saturday.

Hurn - hopefully he'll be available.

Out: any three of a dozen or so who let us down badly.

McKinley generally comes back in and kicks a small bag around this time of the year but I'm fed up with his inconsistency and general lack of intensity. We should have moved him on when he had a reasonable price on his head.

I would love to see Hurn, Stevens and Shuey in. Maybe Wilson for Lynch?
Didn't someone say Masten injured his Knee again?

I think Cox on his past month of football needs to be dropped. He is getting beaten time and time again in marking contests in ruck work around the ground and at centre bouncedowns he runs under the ball all the time. It's time to give Will Sullivan the last four games off the year besides he can't do any worse than what Cox is dising up week after week.

.

Have you ever seen Will Sullivan play?

Yes I have seen him play. He is only young and he is improving all the time. On current form playing Sullivan instead of Cox how would it hurt the team. Cox has given nothing all season

I'm okay with giving Sullivan some games. His tap work while not as good as Cox is passable. It's his around the ground work that needs work, so while Cox isn't offering that then we may as well get some games into him.

hurn listed as 1 week on club website injury list fellas...

Bugger.

Probably won't be any changes other than Masten out injured and possibly Lynch dropped, because we just don't have anyone left to replace people.

I thought he took a couple of good pack marks on the weekend?

Out: Masten (Inj), Lynch
In: McKinley, Houlihan (if injured bring in Stevens)

i really hope Bmac has a strong finish to the season.

Bones keeps his spot as Hurn is still injured.

no wilson plz.

OUT:Masten ,McGinnity.

IN:Stevens, JON (Can,t hurt and Brisbane are poor at the moment).

Lucky to be in :Schoey, not sure who to replace him with but I stil believe he will be a very handy player for us.

What a bad time to be poor team  Swallow would of been a great benefit:(

What's the offical standings on our rookie listed players? how many more can we promote before the end of the season?

At the moment we have

Ashton Hams
Lewis Stevenson
Andrew Strijk
Will Sullivan?

Sullivan was promoted prior to the start of the season, so don't count him.

Stevenson, Strijk, Hams and Wilson have all been promoted.

We could promote a player permanently from mid-season, not sure if we've used that yet. On top of that we can replace Glass, Kerr, Butler and Dalziell if they all got put on the LTI list before the cut-off, so we should still have room.

Probably no one will agree but I think its time to rest the youngsters and make sure they all go into pre-season injury free.

Elevate the old crew and any other players the Eagles may look to trade. Need to show the rival clubs what these mature players can offer. No value if they're in the WAFL. Anyone agree?

If nothing else it will be amusing to watch us try and get it out of the back line minus Hurn again...

the problem without hurn is that the coach doesn't tell the players to give it to anyone in particuliar. with hurn out we should be feeding the ball to sheppard, smith and stevenson all really good kicks coming out of the back half. the problem is they are all first year players so the coach doesn't seem keen on giving it off to players who are inexperienced. therefore waters gets the job and whilst his kicking is normally ok he can produce the odd shank/ bad decision.
