Stevens omitted wow. Thought he was crucial with Wallis, Libba and Macrae already out... Mustn't have been pulling his weight, that sucks.

so with that team named i go

Morris, Roberts, JJ
Wood, Cordy, Boyd
Hunter, Bont, Daniel
Dickson, Stringer, Clay
Dunkley Boyd Hamling

Rough, Dahl, Picken

Biggs, Webb, Hrovat, Jong

Nah he got off lightly. It hasn't escalated properly with an opposition supporter until MD calls for them to be banned, Ozil articulately hands them their arse and SonOfScray wishes them some sort of specific bodily harm.

SonofScray is a student of the mind, you also don't want him in your head

I don't think it's a great surprise that Stevens has been omitted. He's played poorly in two games.

Also when I said Stevens was more likely to be dropped than Jong, and got berated for it... who has the last laugh?

Cordy named on the bench and Hamling at CHB if that actually means anything.

I reckon Cordy's gonna be our 2nd forward starting the match, otherwise you don't bring Morris back without dropping one of him or Hamling unless one is playing forward.

With the way our team has been put together all year, would not be surprised if Koby is carrying an injury. Explains the poor performances of late and hopefully wipes smiles off faces. Hope he's not becoming a glass cannon, can't seem to stay healthy all year.

Stevens might not be fully fit but it doesn't mean he isn't available to play and we should be expecting better from him.

Why is it so ludicrous to suggest he's been dropped on form? 14 and 16 touches, SuperCoach scores of 60 and 65 ... you're blind if you don't think he has had a very poor last two weeks.

we have some really good key back flexibility for this one. We'll have plenty of in game changes in case we run into trouble.

We seem to have our worst contested team for a very long time, so i'll be interested to see how Bont, Dahl, Dunks, Picko, Clay, Webb and Jong go against an extremely honest and mature ruck/mid combination. I'm not confident about that side of things at all. Last week Goldy just plonked it in front of Ziebell, Swallow and Cunnington and they just choked the saints out. Once their head is over it we won't be getting it back

At least with a tall backline against them without Waite plus having the big Boyd up forward we shouldn't look as inept as we did round 5 against them.

Koby omitted interests me greatly against a mature opponent.

Im not certain that our coach takes a lot of notice of other team selections, he seems to prefer backing in his own and their ability to take on all comers. Case in point how he isn't afraid to go into a game with a short back line and a willingness to go with a 'team defence' when we are all screaming for a (sometimes any) tall to be selected.

Maybe they actually will play Webb inside mid like he's been playing in the VFL.

We gave them a good run early in the year and diced them in the contest...our forward line delivery was an abomination though. Both teams have severely dropped off form since then. Could be another close one.

I've also noticed he breaks down a lot of.potential scoring chains by either failing to take the ball cleanly or turning back into the play, killing momentum.

Usually I'd agree with this, but where's the precedence? Dickson was playing worse for longer and didn't get dropped. Jong played worse for longer, didn't get dropped either.
