McNeil sounds ready maybe obrien for cordy but please one of Martin or sweet on the bench.

Outs cordy, Scott, Roark (a bit stiff as he has tried hard)

Only just watched the full VFL replay today and have to I was very impressed with Khamis, yes we were playing the Bullants but his composure with the ball and the breeze was outstanding. Went at 83% efficiency and took 6 intercept marks, would love to see him come in.
Cheers for the vfl stats, How was his defence mate?
Was he playing a 2nd defender or zoning. how many kicks did Khamis have to go at 83%

Richmond will play two good rucks so expect Martin or Sweet to get a game. Could come in for Cordy, Wallis, Roarke, VDM. I reckon it would be good for Sweets development to play on Nank - take him on - he won’t run you off your feet like Max or Grundy.

TOB for Cordy is a straight swap. Bukus form is better but just not sure he is ready or as flexible. Was very impressive in VFL game and though a bit small he leap is extraordinary.

I am a huge fan of Wallis and think we need his hardness until Bruce is back but he didn’t seem to know where to go and had trouble getting Into the game and making the impact he should. He will have trouble keeping out West as like for like. Would give both chances to take the role but the way it is looking West may get a go soon.

VDM should make way for McNeil. McNeil was great in VFL and had looked dangerous and just instinctive around goals - genuine goal sneek.

Bailey Williams was quiet and Sweet didn’t look impressive - so that is a bit of a worry.

Doc Gardner Richards
Dale Keath TOB

English Macrae Libba
Smith Dunkley Hunter

McNeil Bont Trelor
Weightman Naughton JUH

Int Daniel, Sweet, West, Scott, Sub: Roarke

In: Sweet, TOB, West, McNeil
Out: Hannan, Cordy, Roarke, VDM

13 kicks at 77% (team went at 61%). I just thought he moved very well and his aerial and intercept work was superb, an example of which can be seen in the video below.

Legend, just read the VFL writes ups.
Great wraps on Buku and McNeill.
You recon
McNeill for VDM
Buku for Cordy
Rhylee as sub... He needs to be around the team to see what AFL teamwork is.

I find the debate about Wallis and Hannan interesting as they are considered more mid forwards, when discussing whether McNeil who watching his performance shows he has developed some genuine small forward skills.

Weightman despite his size is not nor never will be a small forward, he plays exactly as a mid forward should is is way ahead of both Wallis and Hannan.

I would argue we are a small forward short, therefore, McNeil should come in and one of Wallis or Hannan out.

If you are looking to replace Scott or VDM it would be with a West, Garcia or JJ.

Out : Cordy & Wallis
In : Martin & McNeill
Martin to provide a decent 2nd ruck option and McNeill to provide more pressure and crumbing at the feet of JUH and Naughts

Goal kicking was horrendous but it did look to be blowing a gale there.

If Khamis can keep doing that intercept marking, he has to come in eventually

We need to support Tim against Nank and Soldo - we saw what happened against blues when they wore him down with a brute contested ruck. We can’t allow him to be be absolutely beaten up by two of the better contested rucks in the league.

Need the extra height so Cordy should be replaced by Buku or O’brien, Hannan and Wallis should be replaced by Sweet & McNeil. 3 talls in Naughty, JUH & English/Sweet, 3 genuine smalls in Cody (who like the poster above mentioned, plays as a medium anyway) VDM & McNeil. Medium tall forwards are dead in todays game we don’t need one, especially average ones. That forward line above is so much more balanced.

When JJ returns Rourke out - and we’d be then getting close to our best side. I like Scott as our main role player.

We've really gotta put the work in on Shai Bolton next week, he was the guy that really tore us apart last time.
