I think it is a telling stat that Collingwood kept WCE to a few goals for almost two quarters, just like WCE did to Collingwood only weeks ago, I think this stat is intimately related to the kick:handball of Collingwood as well as their tackling/intensity. I would like the Pies to show as much heart against the Swans next week.

How did the video umpire come to the conclusion the ball had crossed the line in the 1st quarter?
Every view i saw the closest tip of the footy to the line was obscured by the post. And with the goal side of the Behind line also obscured i dont think you can say the nearest tip of the footy was definately not level with the nearest slither of the line.
Is that the rule??? that even if just a tip is directly above the line the ball is still in?
I feel like im taking crazy pills with everyone just agreeing it was a point.

Ye I can,t help myself have to come back . I agree that ball was definately not a Collingwood goal no way , it was over the line.
Now Coll 18 frees for 16 frees against.
That does not make an argument about frees . Its where they are paid and what are paid. How many goals were kicked from frees, for idiotic rules when a player cops fifty for trying to make a free kicked opponant not play on. Even if thats the set rule it is a stupid rule and umpires can never adjudicate at 100 % on silly nonsense in an instant flowing game . I think the Eagles kicked some goals off frees.
I did see one thing that amazed me . I saw Selwood do the head duck and the arm lift and it never got called. Thank god for small wonders. It would be the first time that bloke hadn,t been paid a professional free kick.
