Whilst Im certain that Phil, on paper, tick all the boxes, there is no doubt that jobs for the boys is alive and well at AFC. You would think they could go through some due diligence in searching externally, but as usual, provided you have come from the old Woodville Football Club or at least be an old SANFL player, or a family member of past administrators, you're always a chance.

AFC would, arguably, be the most insular club in the league and faces no scrutiny in respect of any appointments. This is no criticism of Harper, just of the complete lack of process which is continually evident at this "club".
