If Rich take Draper do we take Jagga?

Probably Smillie, I reckon.

Wouldn't be against Jagga, especially considering how low production our mids have been this year but last night all our mids got high possession tallies, so it appears more to be gameplan related than ability.

Hamish Davis debuted for Claremont yesterday did anyone see the game?
Yeah few notes from the wafl,
Hamish Davis- Looked ok at the level, hard to really tell as Claremont thumped east perth. Mainwaring kicked 5 :p

Malakai Champion- Now this kid can play great goal sense kicked 3, if we the draft rules change and we can get him late be a great pick up

Seen on twitter Crows fans think straight swaps Curtin for this years pick for Draper (had their chance) or our F1 for Sharpe.

Draper or FOS suit what we need so can’t see that happening. I wouldn’t want to do our F1 for Curtin either
Thank the lords other clubs saved us from ourselves. F1 for pick 7 to 10 (or thereabouts) to use on Curtin, that's if he was still available at that traded pick.

That would have been a disaster.

Agree, glad we didn’t trade our F1. But if I recall BOND 007 saying it wasn’t just a straight swap, our F1 for crows 1st. Hence why crows and the giants didn’t do the deal. Would like to know what the other pieces to the deal was!

Also a couple of Goal Assists.

Would you swap this years firsts for Curtin?

Depends entirely on how the crows finish the year. But they do have 3 home games all winnable.

So
Pick 2 for Pick 5/6 AND Curtin.

If they don't win many left, they'll end up with pick 4 and they won't do it.

But I BET my house on it, they still reach to get Draper. And this is where (provided tigers take Jagar) we could get there second rounder for first round swaps.

So pick 2 for pick 4 and 28

I would do either deal.

I’d rather trade down with GCS or Freo but I’d take the Curtin+ Pick 5 for Pick 2 but doubt the Crows offer it.

I'd squeeze them for more but that still leaves FoS and Smillie at our pick, so it's a no brainer for me.

The rules are 99% to change. Kane has pretty much put that out there but it’s if the matching rules change. Hopefully next year as we could be in a good spot to match with very late picks for Champion and either split our if we wish or bundle up to move higher

So now the wafl umpires and in cahoots with their afl counterparts in waging some sort of conspiracy against the eagles players…..

How about we teach our blokes proper tackling techniques and how to be first to the ball and release it instead of hatching it… maybe not hold jumpers

Yes they are. Watch our next 2 games

We finish 17th - AFL gives us a PP.

We go into the draft and grab FOS & Draper.

Then all the boys can have game time between Reid, Hewett, Draper, FOS & Ginbey between HBF and HFF.

Surely we have the cap flexibility to pay Darling out, he shouldn't be on the list next year.

If he is, it's exclusively as a Beagle.

Archer will be pushing for some games next year hopefully, and Livingstone. There's no place for him on the list.
Sheed should be the first to go.
Prefer Darling to help out the WAFL ahead of Sheed.

can they just do straight swap TB for English if all agree?

English will be a free agent. That means we don't need to trade for him. Bulldogs will get a compo pick for him. They can trade that to us for Barrass.

Wonder how far back 28 will get pushed.

Does a bulldog resurgence swing English back towards staying??

You'd have to have rocks in your head to voluntarily come and play for us for the next few years, especially if it's only 1 extra year on a contract.

I know Baker from the tigers is in the wrong age group for our rebuilding side but after seeing the way Reid is being treated by other sides and our clubs general lack of standing up for him has got me thinking. Baker could actually help Harley out in the early stages of his career. Baker is known to bleed for his teammates and is a tough nut that won't stand for it.

Dont get me wrong I'm completely against trading for him in this year's draft and givng overs as we all know this is a deep draft. I would be open to trading next years 2nd round pick. He would be an instant upgrade on anything we currently have in the side and give us a better contest which we clearly lack.

But as said most importantly he would be that player thay would stand up to sides that are trying to push harley around while he is young.
